  • Thanks Amidio.
The soloboard update....I can't decide.i do like it.Everything is in tune-its easier to play.

Thanks for pointing out the open in feature.
Being able to move midi files into audioshare with ease is a bonus.

  • @Amidio, Thanks for the quick update. Loving this app.

  • I like the more subtle pinch-mute sound better than the bottom button slap-mute

  • @Amidio Please explain the the soloboard in relation to the chords because now I don't get it. It sounds way off now. Thanks.

  • @We just take the current chord and then analyze it to determine what notes will fit well within the frequency span of that chord. Previously we took information from 4 chords in the row, but that worked well only if those 4 chords belonged to one progression.

  • I may be doing something wrong because I'm not getting anything in the soloboard that sounds musical.

  • @mgmg4871 That's weird, it should be pretty musical. What chords are you using?

  • Perhaps it would be possible to display the selected notes?

  • I'm going to uninstall and reinstall first. Something weirdos going on. I'll report back.

  • @Amidio It appears that the soloboard is not changing with the chord changes.

  • I've tested with the default chords from the Pearl Guitar song and I get the same thing. No changes in soloboard.

  • Lol. I got it. Time for some glasses. I wasn't seeing the color changes in the soloboard showing the correct notes. Sorry Amidio hope I didn't cause too much chaos. Maybe some instructions explaining that may helpful. I'm excited about Pearl Guitar again.

  • @Mgmg Closet lighting gets you every time. Maybe if you stop buying all these apps you could get out of the closet!

  • That's why I stay in the closet so I can buy these apps. Lol.

  • Strumming and soloing in one app.
    is this a first?
Pro guitar did something similar, but this is better.
    Am really liking this.
    The range of chords.
    The solo board.
    And the sound....

  • Cmaj9 chord...the bottom E string may need to be checked??

  • The upgrade makes a huge difference..excellent

  • Pearl Guitar plays very nice with Thumbjam, just turn volume down on internal sound. Couldn't get it to play with Sampletank though.

Pearl Guitar plays nice with Thumbjam, just turn down internal sound.
    Sorry about double post.

  • edited August 2013

Pearl Guitar plays very nice with Thumbjam, but internal sounds have to be turned down. @Amidio, you were right Pearl Guitar sounds amazing with AUFX Dub.
Correction: Amidio's comment was about Pearl Guitar and Uphaser, but it sounds great with both.

  • Pearl Guitar is free right now, so there's no reason not to check it out.

  • Sorry to interrupt the convo, but PearlGuitar is FREE right now...

  • @eyeballjackson ...post above yours?

  • Ha! This window was still open in my browser from yesterday. Didn't see that.

BTW have you guys heard that Pearl Guitar is currently FREE?

  • edited August 2013

    Nice to see.
Good to hear what others think of its sound.

  • Hey everyone I think pearl guitar is free right now lol

  • edited August 2013

Sure, but how much does it cost? I think I might wait for it to go on sale...

Seriously, though, I was holding out, but now I've got it and I can say that I'm VERY impressed both by the sound and playability of PearlGuitar.

  • How many chords?

  • 16 in standard 1000+ in premium.

  • 16 per key? Or 16 arbitrary chords spread across a selection of keys?
