OK.. I now have StudioMux & AUM Wish me luck! This is going to be a blast. Thank you all for the help! It's really appreciated!
I think we're stuck maintaining a list manually for now. The most definitive I've seen is by @philowerx

Check the CPU benchmarks online. For some wierd reason the 3 ran poorer than the 2. I've personally tested em side by side. The 2 could run 2-3 gadgets more than the 3 in all my tests. And even elastic drums ran better on it.
Huh, weird, never had any audio stuff til after the 2 was gone. Just one more reason the 3 needs to follow it into the dust bin. Waiting on the Pro 2's
Me too!
Can't wait.. I'm hoping April but who knows.
Interesting we both seem to have a thing for iceGear sound
If I had to pick three they'd be Model 15, Phasemaker, and Redshrike
Seems to me it's hard to say whether Redshrike goes in the Hard n gritty or the Classic section, both?
Also have and really like Mersenne. Probably next most tempted by Laplace, just wish it and Mersenne would go universal and get an iPhone layout like Redshrike. I see Cassini was just updated, perhaps they'll add Link at some point
If you're on Facebook I keep the list most current. https://m.facebook.com/groups/1704410769839550?ref=bookmarks
Personal favourites from the selection I have accumulated : 0
Model 15.
Animoog.
iSem.
FM4.
That said, Gadget is probably a nice suggestion for an iPad 2 both as a soundsource or sequencing environment.
(I'd like Z3TA since it was a great sounding VST, but not if it's likely to be unsupported.)
You might had bought some already, but my suggestion is Scythe app by BitMask Studios which is best in its type with drag and drop layout and wavetable. You might need to check it.
