Bargain. Outstanding effect, It is AU and it’ll really warm up any number of sources. I use it, sparingly, on a lot of things.
Yup this is a good one. It's AU as mentioned. Plenty of parameters to shape the chorus with. Obviously does your flanger effect duties as well, really well. And some really neat out-there effects on the other end of that spectrum. 5/5

That being said - WOW! So worth is - this is an incredible sounding effect and is my immediate go-to for chorus, hands down.

I was definitely NOT going to buy this. Mostly, because I have about 5 or 6 apps that already do chorus, and some of them are fairly spectacular. My favorite is Kai Aras' VC-1 Multi-Stage Chorus. The Chorus in Audio Damages' QuatroMod is decent too.
However, I watched the FAC Chorus dev's own demo video and decided to blow the $1 anyway.
So glad I did! This chorus has a lot of fine control and easy to get some pretty magnificent special effects on just about anything.
If you're on the fence like I was... thinking maybe you were more than plenty covered for Chorus... this one is indeed special. And, at a $1 or at the regular price... a killer value.
I bought FAC Chorus an hour ago, gave it a listen and was blown away.

Thanks for the notice, OP, and thanks to everyone else for the nods.
I think I bought FAC chorus when it was $2.99. Even then, I consider this at least a $4.99 AU app if not $9.99 (up there with DDMF’s AU apps). Other chorus AUs are okay, but I can get the same basic effect from an app’s internal chorus effect, thereby making the project more stable by using internal effects.
However, FAC Chorus is the only chorus AU worth a damn due to what it can do to your sound (that warmth!), and if you pass FAC Chorus up while it costs less than a coffee at Starbucks, you either own it already, or you’re an idiot.
That is all.
(Okay, so QuatroMod’s chorus is stellar too in its own right, but QMod isn’t a chorus AU. It’s a multi-effect.)
Owning it and being an idiot are not mutually exclusive.
Take it from me.
Bought this app when it arrived ,have been using it on almost every project to some extent since. I can’t praise it high enough. A must buy at any price

I made some Halloween sounds with Ableton's Operator with Dedalus Delay, Waves Brauer Motion, and FAC at the end. I also use the AUNetSend & Receive here to route Audio from Ableton to Hosting AU.
