Anybody else experiencing noise on certain presets
For example the first two, just switching to them will induce a audible noise when nothing is playing. Using the Brusfri utility quickly remedies this but I noticed this noise on a number of presets

Sorry for the late reply, seems a good candidate for a FAQ O_o

I've built an emulation of my Juno 106 Chorus while ensuring its strengths and weaknesses... The "thick" type respects the original characteristics (behaviour of the BBD), and the "noise" is part of those subtlety... The "Clean" type, as the name says, provides a cleaner sound with a larger modulation.

But maybe I should add an new character so THICK Clean or something like that ?
If there is a serious need I'll consider adding the option Vote?

+1 Vote. I use any preset I like with the Clean mode as the noise of Thick is too distracting. It cleans up nicely when I switch to Clean but the sound changes a little, too, as you know.

@FredAntonCorvest +1 Vote from me - I'd love to have a "THICK Clean" option.

I did a track recently where I used the THICK character, which sounded great, but i had to use Klevgrand's Brusfri to clean it up a bit.

I've never really truly loved the Chorus effect on most things (maybe I've only ever heard bad Chorus effects) but this one is special indeed. So warm and lush and beautiful on anything you put through it.

The fact that you did not like that much the chorus family fx before experiencing FAC Chorus is even more satisfying for me

Just to respond to earlier posts, chorus is a lovely trap. Hated it for years on anything....guitars, bass, synth. Then one day it clicked and there was no turning back...

I'm working on a new character for #FacChorus. The BBD will be the same as the Thick you have now and the new Thick character will be the same as the previous one too but noise free! For iOS too of course!
