Does this work only in AUM yet?

BM3 and with a 'work around' in Garageband (ie. record AUv3 midi to a track and move the record track to another AUv3 track).

...and do not forget sequencism ;) - which also has AU MIDI support :)

  • Just saying (don’t think this was here before this update).. thanks..

Yes, it's the small things as well as the big things!

  • @brambos Cells is amazing!! I did notice that after a while of playing, it becomes out of sync with the metronome in AUM. Am I doing something wrong? Also is the copy paste for copying complete patterns or can I use it to copy cells within a pattern? Really cool addition to Rozeta, having a blast using it. Thank you

  • @brambos Cells is Amazing!

  • Here’s a vid of me just messin around with cells in AUM. I have absolutely no fuckin idea of what I’m doin... but dammit I’m having fun! @brambos CHEERS!! :)

  • Thanks @brambos! Outstanding work as always. B)

Small suggestion for Cells: an overdub record mode would be so useful. That way one could come back through and do things like add bass notes, or flesh out chords, or maybe lay out bass notes first and then add chords on top.

I love the Move Free Mode. It’s like pac man meets Mozart or something.

I have had two reports of going out of sync, but I have not been able to reproduce it. Theoretically it should not be possible to go out of sync, because it resyncs itself at the beginning of each buffer. But it's not inconceivable there's a little bug hiding in a dark corner of my code. I'm looking into it. What is your buffer size in AUM? Even for MIDI, it is recommended to use buffers as small as possible to minimize the worst-case-jitter-amount.

It's for complete patterns for now, just like the copy/paste in the other plugins.

Cells crashes in BM3 always when i hit “STOP” (beatmaker’s stop playback)

This one is fixed. Update coming soon. My poor little code wasn't expecting to receive 2048 note off messages at the same time :D

Indeed! Let's not forget Sequencism! :)

  • Nice this, great to be able to use chords.

D: is 2048 note offs enough ? I'd say upgrade it to expect over 9000 B)

  • Cells is the best yet in Rozeta for me, right up my street. Being able to trigger the sequence live by touching the cells is a really nice touch. :)

Hey Bram... I had the buffer settings in AUM set to 512. IPad Air 2, latest firmware.

Yes, it's the small things as well as the big things!

This is Big.. when applied effectively.. BM3 is growing gracefully.

    Recording to scenes is powerful

**You can either record a pattern directly on the song timeline or on a scene.

First, let’s take the example of recording a pattern on a scene, such as it automatically repeats itself during playback.**

This makes sense to me now. I’ve seen some plugins act up on the double stop and figured something was happening behind thr scenes. I think there was just an issue yesterday that was similar with Xequence and another app. I’ll keep this in mind going forward.

    @brambos noticing a resize issue with 10.5”

Hadn’t noticed before because I’m mainly using Rozeta in AUM but it looks like a mix of the apps scale properly in BM3 but some don’t. XY, Rhythym and Bassline are fine but the rest don’t seem to.

@brambos can you comment on if you expected all of the plugins to scale? Still wondering if it’s something with BM3.

No, they only scale if they're actually going to use the extra space. If it just means stretching them to silly widths they don't scale.

    But.... muh ocd....

Thanks for the response. Hopefully BM3 implements auto scaling like AUM soon. There are some instruments that would really benefit from it. Tera gets to be a bit of a pain with overlapping controls and panel switching.

I've made Cells a bit more ocd-friendly. But stretching the cells to the full width would make the spacing so wide that overview (and hence usability) would suffer.

something is telling me that this should be fixed by Intua in first place... It s not normal if host app sends 2048 stop messages to plugin.. Intua intua, Mother of bugons :-)))

Probably to force all notes off ( 16 channels * 128 notes ). Stuck notes can be a pain in AU plugins. But I reckon there may be a few plugins out there that will have trouble processing that many MIDI events in one go.

These Rozeta plugins have effectively turned my iPad into a modular sequencing madhouse! Awesome work!

Just a little niggle: In Rhythm & Bassline, the button for "INIT" is off-center. Is OK in the others that have it.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Already fixed.

  • Yeah the addition of Cells makes Rozeta a powerful combo :)

@Brambos Is there a way to rewind all Rozeta timelines to the beginning if you have follow actions going on?
If you reset AUM timeline it doesn't seem to affect the Rozeta's....if they are all mid-sequence seems tricky to restart them all from the first pattern.

Email is best, because that keeps all reports in one place for me. Thanks! :)

I struggle with resetting a sequence as well once you use follow actions.

Sorry for coming late to this party. But can anyone briefly explain what is Rozeta Cells and does it have anything to do with an app which is called Rozeta Sequencer Suite?

Adds a polyphonic step sequencer to Rozeta Sequencer Suite.
