And don’t be discouraged by people being discouraging. They must not realize that this forum is part of this internet thingy they keep referring you to. B)

Sadly, for some, the internet doesn't seem to exist beyond this forum. :/

Well, it's either that, or you've missed the point.

We all share this forum, and respect is a two-way street. It's already obvious we have different thresholds, but my quarrel isn't with the volume or quality of questions -- it's the way they are asked.

Now that’s a laugh. And what, praytell, may I ask you is so troublesome with how @jdolecek70 asked his questions? I’m genuinely curious as to how disrespect could be gleaned from those.

Well someone was saying OP was thread bombing that FB group too, so you must mean someone else?

I'm really done with this, and you should be, too. Just go ahead and say, "Anyone can start as many threads as they like here," and we can go back to agreeing to disagree.

I actually thought that @jdolecek70 might be troll account for a while there , but I think a little (polite) self-policing is completely OK. You're in a bar with a bunch of friends and a new guy comes up with a hundred questions, someone would probably suggest they might want to take it a little easy, that we're all a group of folks happy to learn and willing to share, but we're not anyone's employees either. There IS a big backstory here on almost any (basic) subject you might be interested in....

Looks as though this posts's title has been removed, so perhaps this thread will be better off sunk a little...

Well, that’s the thing. The whole conversation got sparked by the question whether or not a dot can be considered a valid header for a research paper. I’m not even kidding.

As for the bar scenario, has anyone seen Jim Dolecek The Kid leaving the joint?

  • Yes, it is decent.

I bought a Focusrite iTrack Pocket, on sale for $8 around a month ago. It has 1/4 inch input for guitar, and built in stereo mic. It connects directly with an included lightning cable, and can connect through a USB hub if you use your own USB cable. And most importantly it works and sounds great. If you can find this one on sale still, I recommend it.

Amazon has it back up to $59 now. That was an amazing deal.
