SynthMaster one help, please.
No SynthMaster folder in Files app under iOS 12. No way to import wavetables.
Any help? Also, user manual provided seems not to be for iOS. At least there’s no skin menu in iOS version.
Comments
Doug has posted a video on importing wave tables into SM1 (one at a time for now):

SynthMaster One folder in Files stores only user presets. If you haven't saved/created any of your own presets, the folder may not be created yet.
As for the manual, there was one for the initial version which I've shared here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Px8BOSS63fBvdGylMxtH0qsHoDemdyb8/view?usp=sharing
However, the dev later chose to create videos (instead of maintaining the manual) which you can find on YouTube. He hasn't finished creating all the videos yet.
The desktop version tutorials should complement some content.
@MobileMusic Thanks for that, I use SynthMaster Player with a Kitara and needed a bit more info, myself. It seems a bit unfinished at times, but the sound is amazing.
Thank you, and another question. When I put a high pass filter in a series mode after a low pass it makes sound considerably louder and brighter. Not as much as in parallel mode , but still sounds more like a parallel mode to my ear.
What am I missing here?
High pass filters block low frequencies, so running a high-pass after a low pass will bring out the higher frequencies and block the low frequencies left by the low pass filter that preceded it.
In parallel mode, the high pass won't cause you to lose your low-end. Since the low-pass filter runs in parallel rather than running through the high-pass.
(EDITED FOR CLARITY)
Yep , probably because of a high default input gain.
Couple Quick Questions hoping someone can help...
How’s Synthmaster One on DSP or CPU inside a host?
Ballpark... how many presets are included?
Please someone tell me where the damn tempo control is.
Settings > MIDI input
Thanks. I see that but it doesn’t respond to tap/double tap, long hold etc.
Drag left/right or tap once. It will empty then tap again and the alphanumeric keyboard will open. Unfortunately it hides the input box but just type in the number you want and hit enter.
You can also long press and adjust the tempo by moving your finger up/down.
@kv331audio_bulent : is there a way to delete user wavetables? In testing I added some (in the old version) and want to get rid of them.
Also (Again in the old version) , I am having trouble understanding why some wav files are importing as wavetables but some won't (all are multiples of 2048 samples in length).
Stereo vs mono?
Seems like it might have been due to a bug in the audio editor I was using mis-reporting the sample lengths.
But separate from that, does anyone know of a way to remove wavetables one has added. In my testing I brought in some that aren't useful and they are clogging things up.
Suggestion to Bulent for adding it as a feature to delete wavetables added by user
I can see that in standalone. Where is it in the AUv3 version?
I have it instantiated in KeyStage but I can’t see anywhere to change the tempo.
Ok, I’m being dense.
You don’t change it in SynthMaster, you change it in KeyStage. Doh!
Got it now! I’ve never used the tempo facility before, as I tend to play everything live.
