Latin Fanfare / Brazilian Drum Machine and Heavy Brass
Taking advantage of Lumbeats’ one day sale, I combined Brazilian DM with a Minisampler Drum kit and Micrologue Drum ARP. Two instances of Heavy Brass, RC275 and Shigeru pianos, ThumbJam Shakuhachi flute, iF Bass, GeoShred Bass used as a lead, BeatHawk marimba and xylophone.

I like the Brazilian Drum patterns... nice contrast to the Middle East Drums.
There's a slight disconnect between your playing and the rhythm track that probably stems from the way you approach improvisation. You describe a mental state that's zen-like and
without consciousness like the music comes through you so you're not trying to align your notes with the drums.
That iFretless Bass sound is so good. I sampled it for AudioLayer SynthJacker and it worked out well.
@McD, you are correct, sir. The drum track came later, but I was playing fast and loose with the metronome. Like the swing setting on the Lumbeats apps was broken. Btw, I find AcroLatin much more diverse and complex than Brazilian. I’m working on one now that combines the two
Pay attention to your drummers. Just because they are robots that doesn't mean they want to be ignored.
Did you ever record with a drummer? I could see how it might take you out of your mindset given they way you approach improvising: every piece is unique and without a plan.
If I could I'd remove the drum tracks when they are not spot on since all I can hear is the
sloppy timing errors. Someday there will be a sync button to pitch shift audio and align the
pulses to make adding drums at the end easier. Quantizing your playing and then adding MIDI clock sync'ed drums might be worth mastering. I think just adding LumBeats drummers into Cubasis has clock/sync headaches which is why I generally play to the drum track but I play keyboards like the drummer I am.
Anyway... keep producing and ignore me. I'll always try to micro-manage you and you'll generally laugh and keep going. I hope you're still laughing (at least with the good eye).
Well @McD, I will say it is not one of my favorites, and because of the odd alignment. Still, I do not want to be confined by the rhythm but rather experience the unaccepted as well.
