  • What filters does it emulate? Anyone know. The names seem a bit generic.

I would love to see a video of this being used. Someone posted a really, really short one but it wasn’t enough to get any sort of idea. Am I overlooking any?

If i can get past my sore throat, I will post a full walk through later.

If you’re up to it, that’d be great. I re-watched the one you posted and understand it better now.

  • Is this an intro sale?

Where is that other one and - if you feel like it - yes, please

  • I like! Very nice for pushing things back in the mix without just making them lifeless.

It’s on the first page of this thread.

  • Is there no manual for this? It isn’t included in the big manual for all the TB stuff

  • Notch filters have arrived :-)

I don't need a manual; the long-press tool tips explain most of what I need to know ....

Considering this is a music effect AU, it would've been nice if there was a midi triggerable envelope, instead of just an envelope follower. I often load custom free running 'oscillators' into the aum instrument slot, but these don't have any transients to trigger the envelope follower. This is my main gripe with the polyvoks and WOW filter as well. Followers don't really function without dynamics.

The VCS3 VCA AU has a great implementation, with midi triggering of the amplitude envelope. I hope to see the same on an Au filter someday. (other than Drambo of course, which can do this with flying colors)

  • Can anyone say how this compares to Kai Aras SF-1?

  • Loving the update with the super slow LFOs!! Superb job

  • But actually, I see now that it only does slow lfos when in sync mode. When running free, the lfo still only goes to 0.1hz - could this be changed? @DCJ

  • Not that it is going to be noticeable whether it is synced or not when running these very slow, but not having lower than 0.1 hz in free, when synced can go incredibly slow, does seem like an oversight. Cheers!

Yeah saw that too... but it’s working in best sync really slow and smooth movements. But from my workflow I use more the Hz than the beat trig. Well let’s see ;)
    Should be doable

  • Bought this. I knew I would at some point.

  • Does anyone know what each filter is modeled after or have an educated guess? I’ve been trying to find a list but no luck

Took me quite a while to figure out how to automate the thing after the update ;)
(Hint: its hidden a little popup menu which will appear when you tap the knob)

I do also prefer the older two filter at once view

  • Interesting. I did not even realize the UI had been drastically altered on this one until this moment.

A split screen might be useful and some way of using one set of control knobs between the two screens to save on space in the layout? This really is the kind of app that benefits from being able to see both channels at once.

Same here, hadn't used in a bit. I agree the old UI with both filters visible was better. I'll need to use again and get used to this.

  • I agree, I liked the old UI much better.

I can understand the big filter shape view if it is going to have drawable filter shapes at some point, but as it is now is overkill.

I’m guessing this kind of layout works better in an iPhone format where it wouldn’t look like there’s so much “air” in the layout.

for once, i like my eggs in the same basket 😎

Update is coming up.... Two filter curves if the UI allows it (e.g. is sufficiently large) or snap into using tabs if there is no space for two filter curves.

  • Sounds like a good idea, @DJB. Thank you!

  • Yes, thank you!!!
