    It stores the data. You can access it through the midi tool on a computer.

    &Lil_Stu: I don’t have a computer, only iPad. I suppose I could save the data on an SD card via usb hub?

    The sequencer files stored in the keystep 37 are saved as .keystep37 and not .mid so I don't think that is possible.

    After looking at the Keystep 37 I decided to use my iPad and NanoStudio 2 as my sequencer (Cubasis and Gadget will work as well)
    And a full sized keyboard midi controller to play
