Not so far but I'm still on 13.7 on my relevant musical iDevices. I'll keep it in mind though.
All the best! 😃
@deltaVaudio so sorry for what you’ve been through. Spacecraft is truly wonderful, your creation has had a massive effect on how I approach and make music and I wish you well 🚀
@deltaVaudio I'm getting a complete drop in output volume in standalone mode if I try to move the filter/reverb modulation in either sampler. I'll do some more testing as an AU and send any more info via a testflight report.
@deltaVaudio good to hear from you. Best wishes for your further recovery!
A new version of the beta has just gone live. No major changes, mainly to keep it going until I can get the next update out.
By the way, I noticed that some of the changes I made whilst coding the vst version have increased the cpu usage slightly in iOS. I've identified the issues and will be correcting that for the next beta release.
Glad to hear You up and running Mark❤️
👍
Like @enkaytee I am getting a complete kill of the audio in stand alone. AU is fine.
Yeah - can confirm latest beta has this issue - only standalone, not AU. @deltaVaudio - sent testflight bug report - is this the best way to contact you?
@Philandering_Bastard @enkaytee thanks a lot for this information. I haven't been able to reproduce this issue yet but I'm not on iOS 14.2. I wonder if it's a 14.2 issue.
Which version of iOS are you on and what were you doing when it happened?
By the way, the best way to contact me is via email [email protected]
Cheers
M
Hi Mark,
I’m on iOS 13.7 Tried an uninstall / reinstall just now but get the same effect. If it helps, the audio cuts out with a very short, high pitched sound.
@deltaVaudio - sorry, I was sure I'd loaded the latest beta when I tested this morning but I hadn't. With 2.5.8 on ipad OS 14.2 it all seems to be working. The problem was that the output volume would drop to zero if I moved the filter/reverb control.
I wonder if it maybe has something to do with sample rate? I've been using Bluetooth headphones which stopped me from selecting 48khz in AUM - started using wired ones today and was able to change - could this be related??
Thanks, does this happen when you move the filter/reverb?
It happens immediately when trying to move any of the controls.
And just to confirm, this is on the new beta right?
THIS is the question of the day. Id like an invite to beta test
No problem. Dm me with your apple id
It happens immediately when trying to move any of the controls. > @deltaVaudio said:
Affirmative.
So, now it’s working fine. Did another uninstall /reboot / reinstall. No idea why. Gremlins probably.
Not sure if you guys got a notification but there's a new build on TestFlight (built on my old intel Mac) which I hope will kill the audio cutout issue.
Thanks Mark!
It's not visible yet but if I remember correctly, new major beta builds always have to go through Apple's review process first.
That's odd, I have an email from apple saying it's ready. It should be version 2.6.0
It is out
Sorry, my bad, I thought you had just uploaded another update ☺️
Not showing up in my Test flight
Not showing up I'm my test flight ever @deltaVaudio
@deltaVaudio OK - strange, but now I've updated to 2.6.0 the audio cut out is back again. Going to try a couple of things and let you know how I get on...
Are you using wireless headphones or an audio interface?
Yes - that's the issue - audio cut using Bluetooth wireless headphones - all fine with wired ones. Although I'm going to keep testing because it was working with those headphones connected after I'd used wired ones for a while - then stopped again today.
