Allergies on overdrive from all the xmas cleaning dust... plus the Nifty bundle and an Intellijel mixup. So basically allergies and impending credit card debt lol.
In a way my christmas gift was: i was given a chance to be able to slow down, sort out my life...again..., deal with, i don't know, burnout, whatever, stuff beyond my comprehension that keeps dragging me down, finally live in a less depressing place and have no money issues for a while, a chance to try and reboot my life...
I hope when the time comes for me to step in and be strong for others I will be able to hold out a hand and help as unconditionally as the help and love I keep recieving these days.

The joy of cooking a Christmas dinner for a mother whose dementia is ever worsening & a brother whom suffers from serious psychiatric problems then to return home to a wife who is upset as Christmas Day is the anniversary of her fathers death 2 years ago.
This is not complaining - I love them all very much, it’s my job to be the strong one & we had a great day (even if mum has already forgotten most of it - it is what it is. I still had a great Xmas day & wish all of you out there a merry Xmas too.
I understand. It's also not all rainbow and sunshine here. But there is nothing best for you than doing what you know is better for everyone (even if it's hard). A quiet mind does not have a price. It looks like you are on the good path. It may sounds cliché, but I just want to let you know that you are not alone. Stay strong.

I understand that. My mom had dementia, and was a good feeling to just spend time with her, and know that I wasn’t wasting any opportunity to celebrate as the next year might not be so good.

Rocksmith 2014 at the Steam winter sale and several Trans-Siberian Orchestra DLC songs. I have had a blast playing along to some of the songs that I know quite well, and learning new ones that I'd never thought of trying. Fun. My iPad has sat unused for several days now.
