Plea: More VTines and SWAM Grade Instruments!

Just putting this plea into the universe: We need more small footprint instruments on iOS like VTines, SWAM and VB3m! These type of instruments are the now and future of mobile music making. I hope a modeled grand piano, Clavinet, Wurlitzer, guitars and bass guitars are coming soon… Come on @ikmultimedia (Modo Bass and Modo Drum), AcousticSamples (VReeds, Bassysm-F and Bassysm-M) and Modartt (Pianoteq) port to iOS! 🙏🏻🤩🙌🏽

“If you make it, we will come” buy it.

    I 2nd this request!

These really feel made for iOS with their ‘small footprint’

Come on developers, keep these instruments rolling to iOS!

  • Pianoteq iPad is in development! Also I think Swam ensembles next year will be a really big deal. Realistic and tweak-able orchestral sounds right at your fingertips. The future is coming.

I’m hoping Yonac will be able to make their eventual Steel Guitar 3.0 app a modeled instrument as an AUv3. And… just putting the idea out into the universe here… there’s room for a modeled guitar app from @audiomodeling or any other developer too.

    Right on!

  • Storage may soon be less of an issue for me... new iPads with large storage options.
But, I'll add my wish for more models instruments because they also allow an instrument
to have parameters we can tweak like a true synthetic instrument. "True Synthetics" what a lovely oxymoronic brand name... like "General Mills" cereals which are not made in Mills or by a General.

I will await a correction on the Mills part.

  • For sure future for iOS looks bright and more and more advanced apps will keep popping up. CPU and other hardware limitations are dissolving fast. We just need to be patient a bit

Truth, hard to be patient sometimes. We are so spoiled on iOS.

  • SWAM double bass is nice, but I'd love a really good modelled fretless bass on iOS.

I concur, we need more bass guitar options! I know eventually modeled bass plugins will happen, but now that we’ve all “seen the light” it’s like we needed these apps yesterday 😂

Oh wow, nice. Any update? VTines sounds really really good for a small little app. For me, it's the best electric piano sound on iOS.

They’ve been very quite about it, and I think it’s in early development still. I’d guess at least another year till we see something.

Apple has the resources. They could buy out or license the best quality modeled instruments in the world.
