Importing a folder to Cubasis

I have a folder that contains 100 audio drum loops, which is saved on my G Drive. Is there a way to open the folder in Cubasis? Doesn’t seem to be an “open in” option for a folder.

Or, is there a way to download the folder and save it in to the files app? I can download individual files within the folder but doing these one at a time seems crazy.
Thanks

The "File Providers" in the Files app sidebar don't support multi-file move/copy. You could zip the folder, copy it over, then unzip it. It might work better with CB if you place it in one of the "On my iPad" folders.

  • You can zip the folder, then move/copy the zip file to "My Audio Files", inside the Cubasis folder. Then uncompress the zip. You can find your folder inside Cubasis in: Media/Audio/My Audio Files.

  • Thanks guys, I’ll try that

So, I zipped the folder, then in my G Drive I had the option of “open in” and I selected Cubasis.

This worked, so now I have the 100 loops, not in their original folder in the My Audio Files folder in Cubasis. Is there a way to select all of these files in order to move them to a dedicated separate folder? The “select” option for selecting multiple items doesn’t seem to work in the media bay. Or is it a question of moving them one by one?

I also have a large number of files I would like to delete in the media bay - is it a question of doing this one by one?

You can manage all the media bay files from OnMyiPad/Cubasis/Audio/MyAudioFiles (I don't know if I'm missing one folder in between). So, from there, using the Files app; you can group and organize in folder, delete multiple files, rename, etc
