garageband latest learning tutorial

So after researching and recommendations from you good folks I have decided to go with garageband for recording but im looking for tutorials on youtube but what im running into on youtube is there are older versions and the older ones appear to be very different and i cant find what the latest version is so can you recommend a youtuber that's the best for tutorials on this latest version? I hav4 tried looking at older ersion tutorials but its so differeny i just get lost...so what youtube dude would you reccomend?

  • Search for Dan Baker, also on YouTube, for a pro musician's (very positive) take on garageband, with lots of step by step tutorials and tips. As a huge bonus, he's into actual music making as opposed to "look at this shiny new function", and thankfully free of that forced-cool style and self-promo crap, too.

  • Can second Dan Baker. Has helped me tremendously … and an excellent musician. As a bonus, as mentioned above, really useful tutorials on how to make music as well.

    Although Patrick (The Garageband Guide) gives more tips and talk about other stuff, he recently did a video on recording in GB

    Agree. And he covers everything in a very “new to GarageBand” style that is very easygoing.
