Transferring from ableton

So I want to produce with part ableton and part cubasis/GarageBand so how is the easiest way to transfer from my windows laptop using ableton to my iPad? And would I transfer invidual tracks or an ableton saved file? I’m currently using VLC to transfer via WiFi but wanted to know if there would be an easier way

I don’t know of any iOS apps that can open an Ableton saved project, so that option is out. You’re left with exporting audio and midi clips.

AudioShare is one good option. It can serve as a good place to organize your files, and it has an FTP server to make it easy to send to and receive from Windows.

Another option might be iCloud Drive for Windows. I haven’t tried it, so ymmv, but if that worked, it seems like it would be the smoothest option.

Also, if you’re fairly good at Windows, you might be able to set up a Windows share folder that you could access from iOS. I remember having some challenges with that, but accomplishing it eventually.
