Mimic Sampler from Reason Studios

Just wondering . Does this thing do anything that BM3 can’t do? Asking for that friend again.

FWIW, got this offer in email for Reason subscription:
“ To celebrate the release of Mimic, for the next 3 days they can get 3 months of Reason+ for only 3 dollars! Tell them to enter coupon code 333 at checkout.”

Looking forward to taking Mimic for a test ride.

  • Yeah but it’s $20 per month after. Now they have zoom , 4K screen and redesigned combinatorial. Only thing lacking is a great sequencer . I like Reason .

  • I picked it up when it was on sale a while back. I love using the synths and devices in Ableton.

  • Thought this was iOS for a second, Damn

  • @echoopera :Oh now THAT’S ideal. What’s Bitwig give you that Reason doesn’t ? Extensive modulation? You’re still using iOS , right? Is there any set rule as to when you use one or the other? I’m trying to decide between a new PC w Reason or a Roland MV1 versalab w Zenbeats.

Indeed it was about time that the excellent BM3 sampler got some kind of desktop equivalent ;)
