BLEASS Alpha Arp Issues
I’m having two issues with arps in BLEASS Alpha. Curious if anyone else has these problems and has a solution. Note that I’ve only used Alpha in Cubasis 3 so can’t speak to experiences in other hosts.
- If the first note on a project is an arp, there is a delay when playing. It will skip the first quarter or so of the bar before making any sound. If I stop and start back at the beginning, it will do this again. However, if I loop the section, it will only have the temporary silence the first time.
- If I have an arp that does not start immediately at the beginning of the project, there is a pop of static when it first starts playing that section. It doesn’t repeat again until I reload the project. But I have noticed that it sometimes sticks with the mixdown as well which is obviously problematic.
Hope this all makes sense. I can provide a video if this isn’t clear.

How big is your buffer? These sound like big buffer issues. I experience these in C3 myself, but not just in Alpha. My biggest issue with Alpha in C3 is how frequently I get stuck midi but again I think it’s on C3 and the buffer size more than either the plugin or the host. But I’d love to learn more about this from somebody more knowledgeable.
Do you mean the latency? I usually keep it at the lowest setting.
I also have the sticky note issue. It does seem Alpha-related, specifically tied to high sustain values on the Amp.
