  • One of your very best video, very interesting. When using feedbacks loop like this you should consider adding a limiter just to avoid destroying your ears or hardware!

  • Thanks for the tip, I didn’t realize AUM allows for feedback loops

  • I agree, great feedback video and dischord demonstration.

Would it be best to route all channels to a master channel and put the limiter there, or are there any benefits to having a limiter on each separate fx channel (thinking of a multi-channel feedback setup)?

If one channel is going uncontrollable then it will impact all other channels so I think you need a limiter on each channel to keep everything under control

  • @cuscolima @bleep Great tip on the limiters. I keep forgetting to lead them in. Gonna make sure to talk about that in future videos. 👍👍

Yeah to be honest ... I actually found out my mistake. 😅

  • If I'm not mistaken the feedback is delayed by one 'buffer' set by the Buffer Size.

Yes, it's not true zero delay feedback and it isn't independent from the buffer size so the use for synthesis is quite limited.

@Samu @rs2000 See this is why I love this community. That thought didn’t even occur to me. 💋

  • Excellent vid - thanks for sharing your tips man (and explaining it slowly for us guys who eat bread with spoons! LMAO)

  • Gonna make a spoon out of bread now! 🤪
    Great vid @jakoB_haQ
Got a thumbs up from me over at yt!

  • Nice video, thanks. I’ve never liked shimmer apps, and now I know why: they don’t sound in tune.
