Reslice sampler.. import sound

I just bought the sampler Reslice. When trying to import a sound or a drum loop it takes me directly to Audioshare and I have to import from iCloud to Audioshare..

I would like to import it directly from files/iCloud.. In some cases I don’t want to import it to Audioshare first..

How can I do that?

  • I like Reslice but that has always been an annoying thing about it. It is locked into Audioshare for file import. Of course that was fine back in the day before access to the Files app.

Reslice needs file management. It seems samples are tied to presets.

So as for now you are stuck using audioshare. I tried to go to files, share on a file, then use the open in option and select Reslice. Didn't seem to work. Classic iOS frustrations.

  • Ok thanks! :-)

There's actually a very easy way to import sounds to Reslice (even the AUv3) without Audioshare! :sunglasses:

Go to Files.app, Long-tap on an audio file and select 'Copy'
Go to Reslice and tap the 'Paste' button, done...

    Cheers!

    GOLD STAR FOR SAMU

    :)

  • Ah cool, that I have to check out! Thanks! :-)

  • In the stand-alone if AudioShare is NOT installed the import uses audio-paste...
(Ie. you can still 'Paste' directly from Files.app).

I don't see a Paste button in Realice after copying in Files.

    So is the trick to:
    1. use paste in the standalone version.
    2. not have Audioshare installed to have a "paste" option (standalone or AUv3)?

Paste is only visible when using Reslice as an AUv3.
