Steiner-Parker filters?
Are there any synth apps with a Steiner-Parker filter? Searching the forum, all I see are wishes that one day Beepstreet will bring their Steiner-Parker filter from Dagger on desktop to iOS, ideally to Drambo. I suppose a circuitry wizard could also build one in Audulus (I checked, it hasn’t been done yet), but that’s a bit beyond me. Any other options?

The classic Steiner Parker filter uses a Sallen Key topology. There are 2 Sallen Key models in Drambo: SK1 and SK2, which are found in the analog filter module. This of course comes from the same dev as Dagger. SK2 is much more aggressive than SK1, kind of has that brute sound, especially with high resonance.
Thanks, good to know! I’ve been holding off on Drambo due to the price, but it seems inevitable. All roads lead to Drambo. It seems like the ideal all-in-one playground on iOS right now.
Glad to know SK2 has some of Arturia’s brute factor sound too, that’s definitely part of my interest.
The analog filters in Drambo are worth the price if even just for those. I’m blown away at how good they sound, he’s an absolute wizard at programming
More like a case of "all threads get diverted to Drambo'. :-)
Yes, it is an ideological playground on iOS. Resist, resist! :-)
Ha. To be fair it is the only valid answer to the question so far. 🙂
