Drum Surgeon vs FAC Trans vs Beatformer
Drum Surgeon is on sale for 3.99. How does it compare to to FAC Transient and Beatformer? I only have Beatformer so I figure for $4 DS May not be a bad buy. At the same time, I’m recovering from AAS, have Mixbox + another mountain of AUV3 fx so if it is a redundant buy, I’d rather stay away.

FAC Transient is the only iOS transient designer that's up to the standards of the SPL transient designers I've relied on in both hardware and plugin form over the years. It really is that good. My view on 4pockets stuff is that it's good enough but never exceptional. FAC Transient is just as good as hardware transient designers and in some cases better!
