MIDIculous Learning Software by MIDIculous LLC (Auv3)

Description:
High Quality MIDI File Player:
MIDIculous is the most feature-rich music learning software for students and teachers. At its core it is a high quality MIDI File Player where you can use the stock General MIDI soundest or you can use AUv3 apps already installed on your iPad.
—————
Learning Tool for Musicians:
If you upgrade to the Pro Expansion, you will gain the ability to load virtually any MIDI, Audio, and video file to be able to change the pitch, key, transpose, and loop in order to learn from the various different media sources. We recommend trying to find the MIDI file as this is the only file format that allows you to view the actual note data using our beautiful virtual instruments.
—————
Proprietary LMV and LMS Files:
LMV and LMS respectively stands for Live-MIDI-VIDO and Live-MIDI-Sync. Out of the box, MIDIculous can play these files for free. These are proprietary files that can contain a combination of MIDI, Audio, and/or video at the same time. So picture this super learning file that contains multi-channel MIDI and a video file all in one, where a student can see the video AND see the notes of the MIDI in sync at the same time, such that when the user wants to change the pitch, loop, or slow down the video to learn, all of the comments are precisely in sync with one another. A teacher who purchases the Pro version will be able to make this proprietary file and send this file to all of their students and the student can view this file using the FREE player. This makes for the most amazing supplemental tool and resource for their students.
————
Online Learning Display:
With the most beautifully designed virtual instruments (Bass, Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Organ) a teacher can display or project their screen through avenues such as Zoom, Ecamm, and OBS for a virtual seminar or session with their student. Allowing the student to see the animated colorization of instruments allows for a better teaching and learning experience.

Jamal! Teach us!!!
Is there any way to test the sound listening to a midifile?
The app comes with built-in GM soundbanks
Very nice...
Is it possible to stream a live lesson between the student and the teacher or is it "record session first and send afterward" ? For example : the teacher plays while the student sees live the notes played on the virtual keyboard and listen (or renders the MIDI events with the integrated sound bank). I have read the desktop version could do this using Zoom but maybe it's not possible on iOS. Thanks.
That part is easy to do, but from all of the teachers we talked to, most people want to display the overhead keys at the same time, which requires video, so it makes not sense to add that feature for over the internet MIDI and not display the overhead keys via video. So in this case it makes sense for us to just show all video.
What are your thoughts?
Oh yes, I understand. The student sees the overhead keys on teacher side, not on student side. Quite logical...
The only advantage I see by sending MIDI over the internet would be to render teacher's playing on student iPad with a good piano sound and thus have a good sound. I don't know what it sounds like to listen to the teacher's iPad sound over Teams/Zoom/etc.
In this case, how is transmitted the piano sound ? How does it work when you play with a headphone ? Is the internal piano sound captured and transmitted via Midiculous or is it only what the headphone mic captures which is transmitted ?
Sorry, it looks this can be a simple and complex matter at the same time
Can this app create a score of what I am playing and then allow me to print that off or share via email/SMS etc?
How understood it. But how can I listen how it sounds with a midifile? Can you put at least the option to play 20 seconds midifiles?
I bought the IAP. It’s very good. Is there any way to see a mixer of all 16 channels? If not, can you add it in the next update? Internal sounds are very good.
Can you import MIDI files generated from iReal Pro, and have it play the whole "band" (i.e., bass, drums and keys?)
If so, this would be a fantastic combination for practicing/learning a lot of jazz standards.
