Can I find AUM example setups
So I've gotten hooked on AUM. Where can I find example setups? I understand everyone has different apps and gear, but it seems like there should be people sharing generalized example setups.
BTW, I have been following a lot of Jakob Haq's excellent YouTube videos with AUM, which include detailed discussion of setups.
Maybe I just need to know how to search this better on our forum!
Thanks,
Joe

@echoopera has shared a few AUM projects... in general they arrive with 1-3 apps that I don't own but they are typically synths if they start a track and FX if in the middle slots so I just use another synth or FX app.
Sometimes, he makes an AUM harness for a Drambo-based creation and it requires a little more digging if the Drambo instances use presets from patchstorage.com but I do recommend you seek out his work to quickly learn more about fast complex ambient project generation. He's a master.
I'll poke around in his "discussions" list and see if I can find links to save everyone the effort.
Here's a good one:

I used the search box for "Echoopera AUM download".
+1 on the Jakob Haq videos. Excellent resource.
Im no AUM expert, but I do have a basic AUM template of AU fav effects lined up for mastering (I don’t use them all, but they are there when I want to engaged them). Consisting of:
TB Morphit (for my headphones)
LUXE
RX950
TB Enhancer
TB Equalizer
TB Reverb
TB Barricade
Beatformer
Stereo width control
RRS Exciter
RRS Bass
Dav
Great idea. I would love to see other examples posted here. Thanks
Not really "setups" but good video on AUM in general:
and this Sound For More playlist....
And Doug at "The Sound Test Room" YouTube channel has done hundreds of demo videos many of them loading various apps into AUM to combine them for jams or app demos:

Here’s some AUM sessions configured for multi-out apps. https://forum.audiob.us/uploads/editor/3h/app7lv8i0q5m.zip
It’s not common sharing AUM patches because it’s really sharing the whole DAW session. The whole track as it were. There are a few floating about though.
I have lots of templates set up for certain setups and certain apps, like a piano motif setup with atom 2 and 3 instruments- everything connected, patch creation templates, midi mixer templates, but more then half the time I just start a session By opening up 2 midi channels and 2 audio channels, and go from there. I like my midi channels to the left, then audio channels, then master channel.
Thanks for the reply so far!
I will check out more of the YouTubes. To be honest, just a simple screenshot of some of the set ups would be helpful, or even schematics on paper and napkin. AUM really clicked for me when I listen to @haquynh1990 Jakob’s YouTube about making AUM a full mixer set up.
Last fall I bought a Tascam portastudio, and having the hardware under my hands finally made me understand mixing and buses, after being so confused for years with software. Well, now that I’m not so confused, using AUM software allows for me to see the possibilities of starting from the mixer workflow into the composing and production process for a song.
Hey, one additional favor to ask, if you do share some YouTube links, it would be great it links at the time point when the videos shows the AUM layout.
Thanks again, Joe
