Anyone Have The Palovue iMic - iOS Condenser Microphone?
Anyone have the Palovue iMic?
I've been using a Tascam iM2 for years - great for the price. Was looking at the Shure MV88 but saw the iMic. They have similar specs & apps, but the iMic has headphone monitoring, charging port and is cheaper. But does it sound good! Most online reviews are not music-based. I mainly record acoustic guitar, some gigs/rehearsals and some field recording.

Don't have the iMic but I did recently pick up an MV88+ that is an interesting little mic. I've gotten some better than decent results in some cases. I mostly replied to make sure you knew that the MV88+ does have headphone monitoring, although it takes a bit more fiddling to get it to work with the lightning port.
Thanks @lukesleepwalker - I didn't notice the MV88+ had audio monitoring. The Shure definitely sounds good, but I'll wait for some musical reviews of the iMic.
