Hopefully we'll some day see the Cubase Sampler Track added to Cubasis to reduce the number of apps and provide even tighter host integration
I guess it's just a matter of time and prioritizing considering Cubasis already uses the Ealstique libraries...
Yeah definitely needed. They could buy Neon Framework and implement elastique audio and use it as sampler track.
The 'knowledge' and 'resources' are already in place so there's no need to go hunting for 3rd party libraries.
It's likely more or less a question of development priorities not the core technology, so maybe just do some simple 'internal consulting' with the Cubase team or something
Time will tell where things go, but I'm happy to pay IAP to get it 'built-in' instead of using AUv3's to postpone the implementation even further... (As long as we find 'work arounds' the less pressure there is to 'get it done').
