Funky Jam Auria Pro

I squeezed out a funky track out of Ipad Pro 10.5. Come sempre recording into Auria with Yamaha Montage, some custom Drumsamples, a little perc- loop imported from groovebox, tambourine loop from drumJam. I hope someone likes it ...

  • Yep this is extremely funky. Like it a lot.
    Thanks for the rundown on what you used.
    Are you playing the clavinet, synth, horn parts?

  • Yes, I played each instrument. Many notes Manually quantised. I can play tight, but not tight enough for these recordings. Making drumfills is hard as a non drummer. First step was whole drum arrangement midi in funkdrummer App.

  • @Franketti : nice playing and arranging. I’d be curious to hear your horn arrangements implemented with some like the SWAM horns..always wondered if the can pull off this sort of thing.., but I have feel for that sort of arranging.

  • @espiegel123 Yes that would be interesting to put together a swam brass section. If I had the time, i had bought these Apps and play lines for each brass instrument. I did this in my Herbie hancock cover with yamaha sounds . A lot of work. But thats my plan to try swam. Thanks for listening.

  • @espiegel123 I know, you are a Auria User too. How are your experiences these days?

    I haven't been doing much multitrack recording lately. When I have used it, it has been reliable for what I've used it for which has been straightforward audio tracking.

  • Very nicely done. “Real” horns would be cool to hear on this.

  • @mulletsaison Thnks for listening! I should take the time and try some brass samples. But no native instruments horns on ios….

  • Funk rules! Great work, man!

    What about Heavy Brass?

  • I was thinking about getting auria pro would you recommend it as it is now? @Franketti

  • @Franketti excellent funkalicious jam! Loved every minute of it! Well done!

  • @theconnactic : I bought heavybrass, but had to delete it.
    @PartOfPayn : Thanks!
    @Edward_Alexander : thanks, appreciated!

  • @shodd71 I like it more than cubasis2 that I have. A few years ago only Auria had the fabfilter plugins. This was important. Ihope that auria gets supports in the future. It is 1 man man as Developer…..Everytime after closing pianorole and zooming out it crashes, but keeps last editings. I like auria, but i should learn logic pro……
