AUM & MPC X Midi Issue

Hi everyone!
I'm having issues when restarting an AUM & MPC X session - everything looks to be good on both devices, but when I hit play on the MPC, it appears that the Midi link between both systems is broken, and I have to set everything up again.
Is there a way/order that I should be saving/closing down, and then restarting?

    The MPC needs to be connected to the iPad, and fully powered, before opening AUM. If you do that, it ought to work.
