AUM Change Channels - Solo One, Mute the Others

Hi,
This is an AUM question (forgive me). Is there a way when you solo one channnel, you mute the others?

Thanks
AJ

Hi Aj. Isn't that what "Solo" means? I just tried it with two instruments in AUM. When I solo one, the other produces no output, as expected. Could you be more specific? Maybe post a screenshot of what isn't working.

  • You can solo more than one track though. Some mixers allow only one solo channel. Maybe that was the question

  • I've seen hardware and software mixers that treat the solo mode as "play only the selected channels". Could be one or a few.

I think it was - There is only one Solo.

  • Hmmm... this was only a nickname given to him at the Imperial College I believe... not his actual name.

  • Ahhhh :D uhhhh.......yeah my bad. I'm half asleep today, and the other half isn't awake.
SOLO = Play this channel and this channel only

Love the images.....and yeah.....long, long before Star Warz ever even thought of it..............Napoleon Solo was the Man from U.N.C.L.E (just sayin'). Certainly not to be confused with Napoleon Dynomite.

  • It is a bit of a pain, you should have the option to solo only one channel and mute the others - I have often missed it myself - great for chopping and changing audio output. There should be an option to make Solo truly on its own as per its definition.
I can’t think of any iOS instruments etc where this is actually the case though…… there has to be a few surely….. Strange
