Atom Roll 2 - Copy MIDI from One Pattern to Another?

Hi,

  • This software is soOOOOooooo frustrating and complicated. There's a list of items in the copy buffer (or seemingly so); but the only names they have is a timestamp. How am I supposed to remember what I copied 4 minutes ago?

Every text editor on earth uses CMD+C and CMD+V...................keep it SIMPLE.

You don't have to remember what you last copied. It's always at the top of the list.

The copy buffer does add some complexity, but it also adds a lot of power and utility. The only part that bothers me at all is having to manually remove all those snippets. An option to have only a single copy buffer slot would be nice, I think. I just do a second tap on the "Remove Snippet" button after pasting to keep things tidy.

  • It’s easy. Plus there is a manual. Hit hamburger menu upper right corner, then hit manual.

  • The only problem with the manual (which is absolutely beautiful and very logical to use!) is that it takes several moments to open up. But you can't leave it open while you figure out your clip-pasting problem or how to adjust velocity or whatever. You have to close the manual. But if you mess up, you've to got to open it back up again! Best to keep a link to the online version in the dock: tinyurl.com/Atom2Manual
