@VirSyn: any chance that parameter morphing will be added to Tera Pro?
How to move keyboard range up / down in the AUv3? I’m getting inconsistent results while trying to figure it out. No arrows like in stand-alone. Either I’m missing something or it is a Ui issue related to the small iPad screen I’m currently using.
Yes, this is a bit odd. Sometimes it's not working. Alternatively you can use the white star and drag it up down.
Great, real morphing ! Thanks.
As for being a world premiere on iOS, I know that Sugar Bytes “Factory” does also parameters morphing between A and B presets but I don’t know if Factory can be qualified as a “modular” synth. In the case of Factory, architecture remains always the same between presets A and B.
Are those the newer images taken from the JWST? Spectacular!
i don’t own Tera Pro and Modular is not my thing, but for 3.99, seemed like a no brainier. I love the presets. Very Sci Fi . The sounds are so big. Just one note at a time for me. I startled the hell out of my wife last night as she was falling asleep while I went to watch Sound Test Rooms video. Doug didn’t play straight away and I was thinking my volume wasn’t loud enough 🤣🤣
A couple of the are from JWST, all others from Hubble. Thank you for coming on board of our new space ship
Thanks Harry, something for the next update! Maybe also with an explanation of how it should work - swipe? Press? Love the concept and easy sound creation possibilities. I’ve emailed you some other queries regarding MPE 🙏
Where’s the salami picture …..

Its inside. Dont know at the moment which preset…
But you can tap on the dice and after a while i am sure it will appear😎😎
@VirSyn
any chance for a full color background pls !?
I mean no images ?! just clean ?!
thank you...
Even though I love the imagery it would be nice to have that option to more easily see and position the stars.
Hey @SNystrom be cool if you changed thread title to say Released, instead of Upcoming. Or Rename it however. It helps cause some might just scan thread titles and think it’s not out yet… thanks.
Any reason why Tera pro can’t be iPhone?
Agree, I keep trying to move unmovable stars! Cool UI though.
Anyone tried this with a seaboard? Are you getting y movement when playing both types of patches (stacked and morph). My settings in-app are correct (unquantized, MPE master 1, 48 pitch bend) but I am not getting y axis control when playing using the seaboard. I have experimented with the seaboard slide settings, no joy. The morph presets sound the same whatever kind of y axis sliding I do. They don’t sound the way they do when played on screen. Anyone replicating?
More experimentation - can get mpe controllers to work only making them send cc1 instead of cc74 to y axis control. Doesn't seem so far to respond to 'lift' ('note off') parameter.
How can you automate the morph function? I don’t see it as an exposed parameter.
That is triggered by mod wheel Gus - so what you actually have to do is to this:
Let's say u are using midiLFOs in AUM, you need to set midi lfos to send on channel 1, cc1, then you actually have to connect midiLFOs as a midi SOURCE not as a modulator - ie. Via the hamburger menu on the left of the teraverse audio slot, just like you would connect a keyboard. Of course this will not be per note as mpe modulation of note morphing would be, but will apply to all notes simultaneously. This seems to be the way the inbuilt keyboard works anyway - morphing is not per note. Still trying to get my head around exactly how mpe this is
You can nevertheless get some hella cool effects automating that 😎
Awesome. Thank you for the detailed explanation. 👍
Another observation @VirSyn: the standalone shows feedback on the screen when u move stars. Eg you can see which colour star controls filter cutoff etc. The auv3 doesn't show this. Could that be implemented? Actually rather than colours, it would be easier to remember what these stars do if they actually looked different - as Sugar Bytes did with Aparillo. A different icon to represent each function. Maybe too much trouble, just a suggestion
You can nevertheless get some hella cool effects automating that 😎

No worries, also took me a minute to figure that out
Am I right assuming there’s no category browsing (I.e. pads, bass, keys) or favorites system?
A preset based synth like this can be overwhelming without those.
Thanks!
Limited category browsing, no favorites button, no tags. You can however make your own folders, so if you really wanted you could go through and add things to whatever categories you wanted.
Should image this new app would work well with VS synth seeing they are both very visual experiences.
Much appreciated, thank you @Gavinski!
Maybe a kind of background dimmer would make it easier...
Will think about it.
It would work.
Is the only MPE option on midi keyboard controller the mod wheel?
Parameters don’t respond to aftertouch?
Also, is it possible to hide the onscreen keyboard and info bar across the top? So all we see is that amazing backdrop.
Teraverse is at first a preset player which allows you to play Tera Pro presets. If the Tera Pro preset is programmed to react to MPE controllers like CC74 Teraverse will do the same. But you can’t edit the presets in detail in Teraverse, only in Tera Pro.
e.g. Presets programmed to react to Aftertouch will react to Aftertouch in Traverse too.
With the current implementation the Morph functionality is for all notes simultaneously only, therefore it is currently assigned to Modulation wheel only ( I will add possibility to select arbitrary MIDI CC later )
The only parameters you can edit inside Teraverse are the parameters assigned to the stars. And this can only be controlled from outside within the AU version with AU parameter automation.
Backdrop only view...Interesting idea, will definitely think about that
