Trying to buy the unlock for fingerlabs Philicorda…
seems like the purchase goes through, but then the unlock screen just stays up and nothing happens? Tried a few times, hopefully didn’t get multiple charges

Seems to be a App Store problem that’s the 3 app I seen mentioned playing up

Does BeepStreet usually do Black Friday sales? I’m hoping to get on the Drambo bandwagon.
If not maybe Megalit - can anyone confirm if you can import wavetables on the iPhone?

As far as I know Megalit does not import wavetables.

It can. It was added in an update. Just not in app. You have to move them into the folder in the files app.

    That’s new to me, thanks.

There might be a deal to be had on taqs.im apps. Be cautious though as the pricing is weird/tricky. First, you need to know that Lifetime unlocks only apply to the app you are currently using, while subscriptions open up all 6 of their apps--which have really confusing and inconsistent names. It gets tricker though. On first checking the store in one of the apps, I saw this:

Then, when I closed it without purchasing, I got this:

    Then I got this:

Note that contrary to the previous message, the Lifetime unlock actually got MORE expensive while the yearly sub dropped in price. Also, I did this in the Pro Beats app but had slightly different results in the Synth Pro app where it took a couple of tries to get the 30% offer, so good luck! Weird.
Anyway, World Piano (sometimes also called World Synth I think but not to be confused with Synth Pro) is definitely worthwhile and I have occasionally found some of the others useful, as well.

    It’s not available on iPhone

Yea I meant I was looking for something to fill a Replika hole on my soul 😄

I know that you are just shill Native Instruments, ;) but I took the time to check for a good multi-tap delay on the iPhone for everyone interested. Replika XT is an under-the-hood multi-tap delay.

    • Yukawa - a very popular and praised multi-tap delay on iOS. Simply the powerhouse.
    • Chow Matrix - maybe the best multi-tap delay of them all. People are scared of the UI, those who love it keep it as a secret tool.
    • UltraTap - I love this one from Eventide. Guitarist-oriented but usable for anything else without any drawback.
    • Kajita - superb two stage multi-tap delay and reverb. Very complex usage of spatial effects. You can filter reverb early reflections body and the tail separately. Taps are time-modifiable, like those in Timeless 3.
    • Tap Delay - VirSyn. It is fantastic, and it is easy to set up a multi-tap delay.
    • Kosmonaut - only 4 taps, tape, haas fx, and more. BramBos jewel.
    • TTap - K-Devices, not quite multi-tap delay but has it in the name, haha. But we can randomize repeats with good control and syncing.

Everything from this list works on the iPhone, I have them all and use them regularly.

Timeless can do tap delays too. As well as Other Desert Cities.

I haven’t tried Ultra Tap but it seems great. I think the Virsyn app is my personal favorite tap delay. TTAP and ChowMatrix are cool as hell too.

@hghon wanted an iPhone only and to be close to the Replika XT. ODC and Timeless are not iPhone compatible.

Ah I missed the iPhone only part I guess. It’s been a long day. Was just adding some other tap delays for anyone interested.

I always thought ODC was on iPhone though. Surprised to see it’s not.

Yea it’s a bit odd cause most of their apps are on iPhone even replicant 3 had a beta for iPhone but upon release was iPad only.

  • IAP Sales. I don’t remember iDousyn having an IAP.

  • All these sales… hopefully Agonizer will wait a week or so , otherwise I’m gonna have to really pimp my Bandcamp and even …gasp… use Twitter (I refuse to call it that other name ) !

  • (Between these sales and BF sales I’m so glad I was done with buying iOS apps ) that dude who told me to get lost was right jim lol

  • @Fear2Stop Agonizer was 50% off around Halloween, but fingers crossed for another sale for ya

  • Are these auv3 and can I load my own samples in sliver and glitch breaks?

Glitchcore is AUv3, not sure about the other two.

  • @cam said:

Glitchcore is the only AUv3, and it’s purely just an affect. No sample import.

The rest are IAA. Sliver allows custom sample import (and is a great app). Glitchbreaks is the one I don’t have but I am considering it now.

I for one am glad to see you back :)

I haven’t gotten that much during the BF sales either. I’m mostly done buying apps as well unless a new one comes out that offers me something unique, or an older one has an insane sale that I can’t pass up. But right now, MixBox is the only thing I really want. And maybe Fundamental 2 if it goes on sale. Just because the first one seems abandoned. (Still works for now though).

Bought Glitchbreaks last year and didn't regret it. Simple yet solid. Does its job right.

  • So glitchbreaks can import own samples?

No it just effects incoming audio

Thanks. Is it a lot different than Glitchcore? $1.99 is a great price.

Hiya, where exactly? Files > ___ ? I haven't been able to find this documented.

  • This modern classic is approximately 40% off.

You can load samples into glitchbreaks, it’s glitchcore thats fx only. Confusingly similar names

  • Unimpressed with the Mela 4 synth presets, but I still bought it for it’s midi fx

AudioThing had a few apps on sale and now they have added some more to the sale:

    • Lines
    • Dials
    • Springs
    • Speakers
    • Things Texture
    • Noises
    • Things Bubbles
    • Reels
    • Hand Clapper

    https://apps.apple.com/us/developer/audiothing-ltd/id1659941236

    Go crazy!

  • Glitchcore is so very highly underrated

  • Is Speakers by AudioThing as cool as it seems? I watched the demo by SoundTestRoom, and although informative, it didn’t really help me decide if it could be useful for me.

All the apps by AudioThing seem interesting though.
