Oh shoot I'm sorry I meant Glitchcore. I bought Glitchcore (I always mix up the two names 😅). Glitchcore rearranges and glitches-out the audio buffer from incoming audio. Never looked at Glitchbreaks, but it appears to be a much older app.
Thanks @Simon I forgot to mention I also watched that. Nice demo video. But neither of those videos show its actual usage in user’s projects/songs in the way I feel would be helpful.
I understand what it does and what the controls can do. But I was wondering if anyone is using it on vocals, synth sounds, or anything else in their productions. Basically wondering if it’s successful in actual project usage. My doubts are that it is bordering on gimmick/parlor trick.
Not looking to make negative discussions about Speakers, but I personally have yet to hear of someone bragging about its utility in making music. And I’m sure there are some people out there that can hopefully chime in.
I do appreciate the second video. But the times I’ve relied on developer’s demo videos to judge apps, I was convinced by the demo, and then didn’t end up using that app.
I love speakers. Probably my favourite audiothing app. I just keep hitting randomise until it sounds cool
Yes, in general all their apps are really good. Sometimes a little esoteric, but good nonetheless.
Aeropads - Pads & Soundscapes is $3 off at $2.99
All Audiothing LTD Apps are now on sale! 40-50% off the whole lot. Originally it was only 4-5 but now it’s all of them. Cheers!
It’s all good, no need to apologize. I have Glitchcore as well, it’s great. Glitchbreaks seems like a similar app but a lot more focused? Not sure how much I’d use it though.
For sure. It’s one of my favorite AudioThing apps. There’s tons of functionality packed in as well. Some of the models for the speakers are surprising. Like they even included the speaker from the Gakken sx-150 lol
Didn’t know they were making new apps. Cykle is still super cool. L7 is cool too but has always been glitchy as hell
Files - Megalit - Wavetables folder.
It doesn’t seem to be documented for some reason but they confirmed to me it was added and I tested the beta for it. Could be that they haven’t implemented it in the release version, but they should have.
There’s definitely something for everyone among these.

Inspire is $1 off at $1.99
Nice, going to grab it finally. Thanks!
Anyone happen to know if this app is auv3? I’ll definitely pick it if so.
I imported wt on windows (just when it was released and I found the folder where wavetables are stored-and it worked even with the RC) - what I didn‘t try back then was the ex- and reimport on iPad.
Nave is down to 10€, was 23€ !
https://apps.apple.com/de/app/nave/id596036905
Waldorf’s Attack Drums are also down to 10€ from 23€
Can use wavetables made in Nave be exported for use in other synths such as ButterSynth or the wavetable oscillator in Drambo?
What about imaginado LK matrix? Is that ever on sale or AUM?
LK IAPs were on sale a few months back I think. I got them all for $1 each.
No ways
Oh well
Aside from it not being auv3... how does Nave compare to the other ios wavetable options?
Nave is a really good synth, I used it a fair bit when I first started to use my wife’s old iPad Mini 2 - the only thing not to like is it’s not AUv3. Sounds good, loads of good presets, has the PPG wavetables.

Time Notes is a free app with a free lifetime unlock IAP usually $9.99 - only 11 hours left.
Select Mine, then at the top select Membership, switch to lifetime.
Some IAP sales confirmation.
Dabbling in Tera Pro today I noticed that all of the IAP's are currently on offer too (40-50% off).
All four are essential for my musical explorations. FM 7, not only brings DX7 capabilities into Tera Pro, the way it integrates into Tera Pro provides so much more than other DX clones on the App Store (exemplified in the presets Harry provides). The same can be said for both the Wavetable addition and the Mutable Instruments Braids clone. I especially like that Harry not only provides a crystalline modern sound engine for FM 7, but he also the emulates the original hardware too, with it's gloriously aliasing bells and whistles warts to boot. Feeding the old school engine through Tera Pro's driven analog circuit modelling is a delight.
But the most surprising of the add-ons in terms of musical palette capabilities, is the WaveShaper module. Waveshapers are commonplace, now that the modular world has opened people's ears to West Coast sound manipulation tools, but they often need the right source timbres to sound at their best. The variety of oscillator options in Tera Pro (with and without the IAP's) provides perfect sound sources to feed the WaveShaper. It's worth picking up the 200 WaveShaper preset patch pack, which is currently 99p, as this is a perfect showcase of the versatility of WaveShaper's capabilities.

I've been using Virsn plugins for circa 20 years, and once again can categorically say that my favourite ipadOS synth is a Virsyn synth. Virsyn Pro with the four IAPs is an exceptionally rich aural playground to adventure within. And the added bonus is that it features hardware class performance features to boot (layering, splits and a smörgåsbord of performance modulation options). The only thing it's missing IMHO is a more comprehensive patching matrix. I'd love to be able to cross modulate all the IAP synths to the same extent as you can with the default oscillators and Wavetable IAP. A good example of what I'd like to see can be found in Bengal, a semi-modular 4-operator (Max for Live) synth. Being a Max for Live synth, it's expensive in terms of CPU cycles, but it's a great example of how you can provide richer patching capabilities within an FM synth architecture. MiRack on iOS can get you to similar territory, if you're prepared to roll up your sleeves and patch your own modular FM masterpiece (especially pertinent now that MiRack will soon have polyphonic capabilities). But I digress!
Ensemble Friends is $12 off at $7.99
Yup yup… Waldorf Sale
Attack Drums 50% off at $9.99
Nave 50% off at $9.99
Several of Oleg Sokolov Apps are on sale, 40% to 50% off. Various Instrument lessons and sight reading.
I think it might be IAA and AB3 only but I’m not certain. I know a similar app, AutoPad by developer of Ooda, Zoa, etc.. is AUv3, let’s you load sounds too, but it currently on sale. However @rygrob might have a sale at some point n the next 6 weeks.
Any clues to any upcoming sales that you would like to divulge @rygrob lol.
Can’t find a way to contact the dev, so I’ll ask here:
Any reason why DDMF’s 6144 EQ appears to be the only app excluded from their current "All apps 40% off" sale?
The 6144 for desktop is even on sale, just not the iOS app. FML, lol!
