Bring on the Bram!
I’m too ready to liberate some cash.
Happy launch day!
Yes. Bram brings the quality..EVERY TIME!!
I myself really enjoy noisy and cacophonous instruments, but wouldn't have thought to include id700 among them. I have to spend more time with it, but out of the box with included presets I remember it being pretty musical. No doubt you can get weird with it though.
This will be nice…
I was thinking it stood for the developer.
Only 4 days to go??
“My wallet’s tellin’ me no. But my ears…. my mouth are tellin’ me yes”
That’s good news..I just lost my job today so funds will be extremely tight
I’m sorry, I pray you get a new job that pays you better than you’ve ever been paid and uses your gifts 🙏🏻 God bless you!
Damn. On international worker’s day!? So sorry to hear it… best of luck finding another one!
Same brother! Damn... Hold tight.
Thank you all…greatly appreciate it more than I can put into words
+1!!!
@Fear2Stop @Gavinski what kind of work we looking for?
At this point I’m pretty much desperate for anything… I was out of work for a year before I just got this job too
You too!? Good luck man.
We can form a little club then.
The company I worked for went bankrupt (very unexpectedly) and although they're restarting with a skeleton-crew, the entire design studio was let go, me included. That was my dream job, so it was a bit of a shocker.
Hilda is pretty much the result of me doing something productive and fun while hunting for a new job
Sorry to hear that. Did you work for 'Dutch Solar'?
Oh Bram... Sorry to hear that, so damn sorry.
Who votes for a price rise of $5 on the intended price of Hilda? I'll also forsake a free code in the spirit of comradeship. 🙏

But I think it’s better to make that optional (IAP)... as the picture shows many could be in a similar situation (myself included) and from app release perspective it’s better to have as many on board as possible, rather than have people on the fence.
Very true. I'm far from flush myself. Maybe add a tip jar Bram?
Ha, thanks, but no need for that. It's one of the risks one accepts when joining a startup/scaleup. It's just a massive bummer
But I try to see the upside: I'm not wasting my time, and the creative outlet of making this app has been very therapeutical for me to get over the initial shock.
Lightyear. I'm happy that the mission lives on and I'm cheering from the sideline for my handful of former colleagues who are now working hard to get our/their affordable mass-market solar EV to market.
It is difficult time for many of us , harsh time.
Sorry to hear that @brambos and others. Went through a similar experience recently. The tech world and things in general are a bit mixed up right now.
Very true…I’ve been doing surveys like mad on Swagbucks to get an Apple gift card to get this (confession time: that, occasional bandcamp sales, and the occasional gifted app are the only reason I’ve been able to get any of these…streaming royalties go to bills after the splits). Considering how much Ripplemaker is loved in my household (my wife is a huge mark for West Coast synthesis and it reminds her of a unit she used in college ), there is no way in hell I’d pass this up!
Life is very nice but also very expensive in our 'beloved' small country. Wish you all the best, and hope you will find a job that fils you.
And remember, your apps are 'lightyears' ahead of most other apps. Essential for my music productions.
.
As bad as the tech world is right now, call centers are even more difficult to make a living if you live in the states. I’ve done that line of work since 2006 and my position got outsourced/eliminated while I was on medical leave. Took me a year and 2 months to find a job I had for a month and a week, in the fast food industry which I’ve never done before and am not really cut out for. I’m going to be 45 in a few months , survived two full strokes and have had numerous mini strokes/TIAs with a wife on disability and two kids (one of whom is our 1 year old son who was born at 7 months ). To top it all off, the place we’re staying at got sold and tomorrow we get to find out when we have to leave. No income is going to make it very difficult to find a new place, esp with two prior evictions on our record.
All of this is to say…I haven’t been here that long but this community is one of the few bright spots I have (besides my family and band) in an otherwise awful existence, and the fact that many devs and YouTubers I hold in high esteem are here, well, shit, that blows my mind to kingdom come lol . I’m grateful to you all, just for being here, more than my neurodivergent ass can explain
Oof so sorry to hear the news @Fear2Stop @Gavinski and @brambos. Hope things turn around for you guys very soon 🙏🫂 being without a job is no doubt one of the more stressful things one can endure.
I didn’t realize so many of us were on the same boat. Whether you believe it’s God, the universe, fate, or some alien playing the Sims, something brought us all here
I mean besides the apps of course 🤣
