Transferring Sessions (or whole setup?) in AUM...
I believe I can (via airdrop) transfer sessions from one iPad to another, but is there a way to send all the sessions in one file? IE some sort of full backup procedure?
Comments
So no-one knows if sending a whole folder is possible?
Yea session presets can be shared, I've never tried a whole folder.
Here’s the online manual. AUM Manual you got me curious now too.
There’s also a FAQ in the bottom of the left menu.
Try this:
Go to -On My iPad -AUM -select everything -go to More (bottom right) + compress..
That should give you a zip file with everything (including any presets you made for other apps) you’ve done in AUM..
If I’m backing up, I drag + drop the complete AUM folder to an external SSD.. simple + transferable too..
Thanks - yes I can easily do a single session as the receiving iPad posts a message asking which app to share with....when I try the folder, all it does is open the Files app on the receiving iPad...read the manual already and it "indicates" it can be done but does not specify!
Try starting from in the files app not AUM.
Files app - on my iPad- AUM - then you get all the folders. I long pressed on a folder and it said this… you can then compress, or just hit share several ways. Via airdrop the folder, both devices need Bluetooth and on same network, or email the folder to yourself and open on other device to download, etc…
Thanks, I'll try that!
