Picking just one, in a desert island scenario, then Drambo, no doubt. I would have to figure how to recharge the ipad, though

Solar panel foldable. No power bank. Straight sun into that device.

    Something like this:

    https://www.amazon.com/BLAVOR-Portable-Waterproof-Compatible-Backpacking/dp/B0BJDBQXQ3/ref=mp_s_a_1_20?crid=3ET25EN3Y0RXJ&keywords=solar+charger&qid=1689139841&sprefix=solar+cha,aps,134&sr=8-20

Thanks, that’s really helpful info to have when you get stranded on a desert island. Remember to plan ahead, before the shipwreck, though (I don’t think amazon delivers there 😅)

With Zenbeats I definitely prefer working with AUs there. Also love how easy it is to quickly record loops for the clip launcher. And you can record the performance directly to the timeline to create a fleshed out and more completed track. Also the pre and post mix knobs for effects is super useful. Also synth wise I may actually prefer ZB. Sampleverse and ZC1 are fantastic. But Sculpture in Logic beats everything I just wish the UI didn’t suck lol.

So yeah it’d be hard for me to chose so for now I’m keeping both. I think they’ve both earned their place. Sadly Cubasis 3 is not getting any use from me anymore. ZB and Logic are just more powerful and easier to use (imo of course).

Totally get it, I'm keeping both around myself, at least for now. Zenbeats has seen some massive improvements since shipping version 3. By the way, though, you can also record a Live Loops session to the timeline in Logic Pro.

It'd be interesting to see an in-depth comparison of ZB and Logic Pro from a workflow perspective. They're really quite similar.

They definitely do have a lot of similarities. I think I’m just more familiar with ZB which is why it takes the cake now but in the future who knows? I’ll probably end up keeping both anyway lol
