Using AUM stem audio files and importing them into Ableton?
I have tried recording long 6-minute audio recordings, like adjusting filters and stuff in AUM and recording them as individual stem files. I then send them over Icloud to my desktop for arrangement and stuff. When I try to import them into Ableton Live, they get time stretched and somewhat ruin the sound. I always go back to doing a jam in AUM and record the mix as it sounds more natural..Are there any tricks or tips to make it better? Thanks as always..

Can you just turn off warping for each clip so that the original is retained?
Perhaps that's a good idea. It just seems the timing and things aren't the way I would want them to be. The start is kinda off and stuff.
There is a way to load files in Live without them being altered in any way. I don’t recall the specifics.
I gave to check into the prefs or something. Sometimes time stretch works wonders, other times it ruins the feel.
You can disable "warp" in the sample display. This works per sample.
OR - always disable
-Open Ableton’s Preferences.
-Select the Record/Warp/Launch tab.
-Disable the button marked ‘Auto-Warp Long Samples’
thanks for the tips Royor
@Antos3345 You’re welcome.. I know warping is what Ableton is all about - BUT - sometimes we don’t need/want it for various reasons..
