  • The interesting thing about this, I think, is that because the chords and sequences are based on a guitar fret board, they have a quality different from the way chords are made on a piano keyboard. It's fun to build interesting chords out of that.

  • Thank you Doug.
I thought I don't need it because I already have both Riffler apps and also SessionBand Acoustic but you changed my mind
Btw, nice combo with Yonac Steel Guitar (Acoustic)

  • I have started many past compositions by first just using Midi Strummer to get the creative juices going and then build up any ideas that appear, it really is a great app, all Paul’s apps are really good.

  • Purchased it!
Can anyone shed some light on how to create multiple song parts to use within a song?
Given what I see in the app, a song is made up of one (or more?) chord chains.
    I'm wondering:
    1. If there is only one chord chain, then is there a way to jump around to different song position numbers (ie: via setting or via midi), so that I can have an intro for song in song position 1-4, verse chords in song position 5-9, etc and/or
    2. Alternatively, is there another way to create song parts to trigger either via settings or via external midi so that I can use midi strummer to accompany me during parts of my song

If everything has to be mapped out in a single chord chain ahead of time, that makes it much more static than I'd like, where when playing live I might want to jump back to another verse or bridge and/or loop through things more dynamically along with other things that may also be triggered by the host app

    Thanks
