rotary BPM knob

Hey everyone! I'm trying to create a classic-style tempo wheel in Loopy Pro – like a rotary knob that:

Looks round, like a traditional metronome or tempo dial
Adjusts the BPM in real time
Shows a label with the current BPM
(Bonus) Has a color gradient or visual cues (like blue for slow, red for fast)

Has anyone here already made something like this?
I’m still a bit of a newbie with Loopy Pro, so if you’re willing to share your setup or code, I’d be super grateful! 🙏
Thanks in advance!

In 2.0 there are rotary encoders. Currently , the only numeric tempo display is the one on the clock.

  • so... that is where I will boldly go, so... thank you!

  • Encoders don't really give visual feedback but you could hook it up to a slider or something like this.

But then you might as well use the slider! Hehe

  • so true:) thanks! on the same design, i am struggling with a strange quirk...I have three loops on board, i can clear them all three at once, burt i can't seem to get them to record simultranously. I have the three of them with a button triggr to start recording, but when i press the button, only the first one starts and the other two "wait for clock to start" Do you maybe know what to do? thanks!

Do you have Simultaneous Recording enabled in the Global Clip Settings?

Are you using three recording actions (not play actions) set to fire at the same time?
