4pockets contact?
Does anyone know how to actually get in touch with the 4pockets developer? New apps keep coming out, and we just got a Surface Builder update today, but it still has the really weird limitation of not "passing through" data. That is, if you provide a midi input you can wiggle a knob remotely, but the data doesn't come out to control a downstream target.
I've written the gmail address I was given here twice now, and haven't heard anything.
Is there a more reliable method to make what seems to me like a reasonable feature request?

support @ 4pockets.com ?
Paul has times when he's very responsive and others when he goes dark for awhile. 🤷🏼♂️
You might try leaving a comment on one of his Surface Builder videos on YouTube. I think I also heard Facebook might work(?).
I had a reply from Paul on Facebook this week. He has some personal things going on atm, so please be mindful of this.
I've used the 4pockets.com email twice. I don't use Facebook. I guess I'll just have to wait until there's some window of opportunity.
@mwnki If you're in comms with him, could you please pass along my suggestion, when he is less strained by life? Thanks.
+1 on the suggestion. It's completely baffling that triggering a control via midi makes the control not send anything.
I wouldn't request it as pass-through though. I would request it as simply making it so that the control still sends midi even if triggered from a controller. For instance, ideally, a controller could send something like CC 0 to move a knob, and the knob could send out CC 20 if configured to do that.
Honestly, it makes Surface Builder something I rarely use. Which is a shame because it's so good in so many other ways. It seems like it should be an easy enhancement if Paul is able to consider it at some point.
Yes. I agree that a "send on wiggle" makes more sense than an actual pass-through. In fact, it opens some intriguing possibilities. But failing that, even a matched output would be useful.
He keeps updating this app, but never touches this feature. Sigh.
Write a comment on one of his Youtube videos. This way I came in contact with him and he helped me out with a problem I had with one of his apps.
Doesn't that require a youtube account, for which one requires a gmail account? I prefer to limit that kind of thing as much as possible. And of course I don't have a Facebook account, which apparently is another way to contact him.
He doesn't respond to email, and has no operating website.
It's frustrating.
