Help needed with LK by imaginando
Hello,
I have an issue with LK on Ipad:
I start recording in Matrix mode, I see the notes appearing in the piano roll. But then, i just hide and display the piano roll again, and the notes just disapeared?! Is that normal? Is it a bug or a setting that I missed?
Does somebody see where it could come from?

Can't see the video. Google drive says it requires access.
I was so exicited about a particular use case with LK using it as a MIDI file player… but I quickly learned is was pretty unstable and I moved on. I still haven’t found a MIDI file player that works better than the incredibly retro “Musk Player” for what I need in AUM.
I wish LK was rock solid but I get the fact that support is a function of successful sales producing the incentives to maintain as App. That’s the issue with all commercial software. They have a life cycle and only a fraction are sustainable as a business.

LK in Loopy Pro? I’m getting pretty excited about MIDI in Loopy Pro. “Is the soup done yet?”
I can reproduce this @ttk.
I dunno ... it's a mess! I couldn't even record into it from an external midi controller, though I could monitor through it just fine. The only way I could record anything was through touches on the side keyboard in the piano roll.

Join the public beta and find out, my friend. While there are bugs cropping up from time to time, but they're almost always things "typical" users wouldn't run normally run into at this stage.
The problems are there in AUM too, so it's not a Loopy specific issue.
This was caused by one of the last updates. I took the trouble to install a version I previously backed up with iMazing, and it works as expected. It's surprising that problems as obvious as these weren't found in testing before release.

That's why I was going for LK in the meantime
Drambo works well for midi duties in Loopy Pro. No need to learn anything very just complicated to use Drambo as a midi sequencer.

We have just tried to reproduce the problem in standalone with a midi controller but apparently everything is fine. How does one reproduce the problem?

We have already identifier the problem. We have accidentally added a regression. It was very subtle.
The problem was fixed. New version submitted to AppStore. Hopefully it will be reviewed soon.

Can anyone recommend any revisiting LK videos, something up to date showing OG and newer features?
Me and @xglax are planning to make a full walk-through video, 2025 version. All video resources of LK are basically outdated at this point. LK community deserves that.

I don't find LK hard to learn at all but if it helps to get more users on board then all good 😊
