Very nice. If Zachary Rowden, the developer, happens to pop in here, two things…I recommend you mention in the AppStore description that it works as an AU instrument and maybe consider opening the controls as AU parameters for automation - it could really expand the possibilities? Cheers.
Heads up to all potential Koomers (heh), if you're hitting that Random button in the top corner, be sure to tap the Gate Trigger to immediate reset the gate
Got some loud, high pitch results off the jump
(Feels like a Note On when random is hit, but no Note Off until the separate trigger is hit... But I'm ignorant towards more proper verbage lol)
Very interested to see talented hands get a hold of this to see its potential (and maybe a tutorial or two? 😁)
This is great! Reminds me of Thump One or Chow Kick.
So cool
First to get an actual and usable kick sound out of this wins a ticket to waaa.....
Downloaded this and played with flit for a sec but after a few I went back to check out Chow Kick again and man, what a dope app.
Each one is amazing, can’t believe they’re free. Realized just the other day that Centaur is a Klon overdrive emulation, and it sounds lovely!
I win, yay!! If you try this it's a soft deep kick. Change 'Smudge" to get: a kick in the balls.

Freezing on me in AUM. Preset system seems not to work either. Nice that it’s free but it seems half baked
Edit: reinstall has fixed the freezing for now. Preset saving still not working, that I can see, in the AUv3
Edit of edit: no, reinstall didn’t fix the freezing - after trying to resize the UI, I get freezing again.
UI has pretty major resizing issues too
This needs work. Preset system not working, random doesn’t deliver anything useful. The dials look not right, see picture (Apematrix). Has potential but for now it feels half finished.
I've managed to generate some really nice sounds, dump them to Euclidean w/ some 808 snares, good stuff. I dig it.
Haha nice man! I had a whole ensemble of kooms doin crazy polyrhythms last night. I love all the quirky effect titling like “stretchiness”, “awavness”, and my personal favorite, “hereness”. All my Kooms were so there!
Really! I find it quite stupid (not you) as I have to spend unnecessary time to learn and guess what's what, no need for reinvention of whatever it might be, like: attack release envelope or whatever - it's working as is.😂
@dendy but can this psykick??
take a bit to knock it solid. But for free it's ace! OF course I would have liked more presets showing off what it can do. At first it's a sfx machine you gotta learn to tame! Cheers to a kick synth .
i have no clue :-D i don't have this plugin, after FAC Drumkit and Thump One i closed for myself chapter of searchong for perfect drum synth for rest of my life
Kool. Thanks, dev!
