Looks amazing, thanks for posting.
To get a list: You can either put three backticks ` before and and after the full list, put an asterisk plus a space before each item or put two spaces at the end of each line.
Uau. It does look amazing. Any demos of the new features coming up?
I love the addition of MIDI in and learn. Only one wish left for me: Universal app to run on iPhone 6.
Thanks for that info syrupcore!
Update looks great... I've been waiting for the midi implimentation. Thanks.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
The best Drum app got way lot better. Merry Christmas Marinus!!!
The update is live.
Wow so does this mean we can use drumperfect as a drum sound module?
Nice. Thanks Mister M.
Good Question @Musikman4Christ. I'd like to know that as well. It has Audiobus, right? So the question would have to be does it have Midi in/out and does it sync properly...
I didn't see an update on the app store though.
The new ver. includes midi in. With what I've tested so far, it seems to work well. I drove DP with Drum Studio, and the sync was solid using DS as the clock source.
That's really good to know! Thanks @funjunkie27!
By the way, I have to say that I'm very pleased with the GUI improvements! It really makes it easier to understand what's going on with this very busy app! :-)
Agreed^
Wow! This is one awesome update! I can actually understand this amazing app now. Things are more orderly setup. I like how certain settings are now grouped with in boxes for clearer understanding. This is going to get so much more use from me from now on! I truly appreciate this update Mr. Developer. Thank you so much! I am so happy I have bought this app!
Now imagine if this app had a built in Pad screen sort of like the one in Sampletank? To be able to enter in real-time more than one instrument at a time. THat would be so even more cool! Maybe in a future update. THank you!!!!
@Musikman4Christ: that Pad screen is already planned for the next update.
Wow!!!! Thanks Marinus! You rock!
This new UI is so much more user friendly that I've made more patterns in one hour than I made in a whole month. Honestly, the old way would put me off fast so I would just fire up RDM, or stochastik. But now, it is smooth!!!
Thank you so much!!!
Thanks @Musikman4Christ and @Audiojunkie, really glad to hear the new UI works well for you!
Dear Marinus, another idea for a future update would be to have each drum be effected by optional external effects. For example: If I wanted to add this really cool reverb effect to only the snare drum. Maybe create a way to apply Inter App Effects. The reason I thought of this, is because I was using Audioshare, and there is a section where one can record and there are slots to create IAA effect presets to use when recording audio into Audioshare. This is so cool because when one is making a drum beat for example, it is always so much fun and useful to add separate effects to different drums. LIke the Bass drum sometimes is really awesome with a Compressor or Limiter, and in some songs, a nice Reverb effect on the snare makes it really shine.
Please have a look at the way Audioshare has it set up. That is a great way to make this amazing app even more professional.
@Musikman4Christ: For that purpose, DP offers separate track outputs per instrument via both IAA and Audiobus, which can then be individually processed and recorded into your DAW of choice.

Never realized this. So. Awesome.
Wow! This is so cool. I need to dig deeper into this awesome app.
The only thing though is that this would be after the fact tho. Which is ok I guess. Sometimes tho, its really cool to hear the drums sound great as you create the beats. Sort if of like when one plays a synth. Its nice to hear the effects applied in real time instead of waiting till it gets in the daw. But maybe there's a way already, just haven't dug deep enough.
Never been too much of a drum programmer, never been much of a drummer I guess, but find myself spending more and more time with this and being rewarded for it.
^totally... hate fiddling with programming patters, but the stuff you get out of DrumPerfect makes it worth it in the end. What a great update too. Such a facelift for the interface. Very nice work.
I'm probably going to devote the weekend to this app and Flux:FX. I tried this app several times and was totally baffled, the last time I used it finally made some sense.
It's an app that takes some patience, and I mean that in the best possible way. I know of no other drum app on iOS which lets you craft sounds with as much care (as far as panning placement, which is super important for drums imo). Like JG just said, time is rewarded with this one.
btw, if you like the way beats sound "human" on this app, and also like hip hop, I suggest checking out the producer Req (he put out records on Skint and Warp). Any results I've ever got from this app remind me of his beats (this is a compliment).

If you route DP's individual instrument outputs into a DAW's inputs, via IAA or Audiobus, and apply effects on these inputs in the DAW, you'll also be able to hear the effects in real-time while programming/creating the pattern. Perhaps mute the "All Instruments" input in the DAW in order to only hear the individual instrument tracks.
