All the words in the world (remastered)

A few years ago I posted a song my sister wrote and sang for a wedding. It was recorded on a single, decent mic, but it was recorded in mono. Since posting that, I have acquired a lot of new audio plug-ins and more experience mixing, editing, eq-ing, tweaking recordings. Well, I have re-mastered the original mono recording using iPad audio plug-ins, made it sound like it was recorded in stereo, and I added a soft bass to it as well. Here’s the final product. It’s a wedding song, my sister is singing and playing guitar live, I added the soft bass.

I used a whole bunch of plug-ins for this, I think Revolv gave it an especially nice character and space, although I used the TB reverb as well.

  • Your sister has a beautiful voice and is no slouch on the guitar, lovely 👌

  • Beautiful song. She has a lovely voice. It seems that music runs in the family. Great work remastering. Sounds like it was originally recorded in stereo in a studio.

  • Thank you @GeoTony and @Paulieworld . I told my sister of your comments and she appreciates the kind words.

  • Another great song and recording. Thanks for sharing.

  • Is your sister a big star? That’s what she sounds like.

  • Thanks for listening @pbelgium and @MrStochastic. No she isn’t a star, but a local radio station where she lives interviewed her with a band and played some of her original songs on air which was a thrill.

I shared your compliments with my sister.
