Bits and Bows - a journey through classical sounds and synthetic textures
"Bits and Bows" is the title of my last album. One of my friends called it the album of my "artistic maturity". I wouldn't say that's entirely true, but it definitely moves in the direction I aim for, blending electronic and classical elements. Electronic/alternative rock? It's there! Contemporary classical? It's there!
The album is entirely made on iPad, using Logic Pro as main DAW and StaffPad for most of the strings.
The album is available on all the main streaming platforms, free ones (YouTube) included. Enjoy the listen

Terrific album, every track is great! 🏆
For this to be made on an iPad, is testament to how far we have come in mobile music production. I say this as someone that listen to a lot of music, but does try to make music myself on on iOS, albeit in a clumsier fashion.
If I heard this with a blindfold, my mind wouldn't even contemplate iPad as it's source.
Some of the tracks could be plucked 😉 from a movie or game soundtrack.
It's a really interesting listen. Sometimes hauntingly so.
On the track Ghosts....in my head I have Nick Cave getting emotionally visceral.
And thanks @unlink for providing your music on Bandcamp. I find it the most accessible to listen and purchase music, especially for free, as opposed to the major streaming sites that have restrictions.
Had a quick listen… very nice sound!
Mastering/Production sounds very good!
Couldn’t see a bandcamp link though?
Very beautiful opus ! Bravo Maestro!
Thank you very much for your kind words @Dasgoods2025. We should be happy indeed to have such powerful tools right all available on a simple touch device.
Thanks @id_23! This is the Bandcamp link: https://unlink.bandcamp.com/album/bits-and-bows
And thank you of course to the two great artist who contributed to that album, @richardyot and @JanKun
Wow... i'm stunned, mate. Such an awesome album.
)
Even the vocals are pure perfection (generally what i'm most critical towards
Congrats, brother
btw, totally gonna play it while driving later today too
Fantastic musicianship! Very impressed! @unlink
Well made for sure!

Thank you very much! But the vocals are from two other great artists here on the Loopy Forum, @JanKun and @richardyot
And thanks @Edward_Alexander and @MrStochastic !
This one deserves a bump up !
Thank you @JanKun
You're welcome. Hoping more people will give proper listen to your music, it is simply gorgeous and deserves it
Wow, very impressive. As others have said you’d be hard pressed to know this had been created on an iPad.

Such a high level of musicianship on every track … Behave is probably my favourite but it’s a close call with 2 or 3 others including the one with Richard which I think is particularly strong… and that’s coming from someone who is not normally a fan of vocals 🙏
BTW I listened via Qobuz, a French streaming service and this how the album appears there…
Thank you very much for you kind words Tony 🙏
Is there something wrong with Qobuz? I distributed with Cd Baby and I personally checked just the Spotify release, so it would be good to know if they made mistakes with other steaming services.
Not sure what you mean by ‘is there something wrong’ ?
All fine for me, great quality, good service… does something look incorrect from your point of view ?
