quadrants
I was trying out making some custom sounds with Pianoteq and came up with something sounding like a heavy weight kalimba I liked.
Then I was also checking out Mididelay (https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/61654/mididelay-by-alexey-nadzharov-released) and eventually was able to figure it out enough to try something.
I just improvised really simple phrases into it.
I was about to go with that but finally got Objeq and applied that to the kalimba sound.
For the video I used an old animation I made back when I was experimenting with Flash on website design. I tweaked it a little in LumaFusion.

While it stands as it is, it could also be used as the rhythmic element for a piece with additional sound layers and development?
I like the video - very calm - refreshingly free from sound reaction and glitches that just give me headaches. Creating video is hard work. Flash, that’s going back 😊
Thanks for listening and your comments! I agree with you; and it goes on a bit long. I've been practicing with some SWAM instruments just for soloing over things like this.
The Flash animation was meant to be perpetually changing. When I realized Flash was over I just captured it as a video so I'd remember it.
Sounds great and I really like what you did with the video. Those work well together.
Really glad you took a look. I know it went on a bit long but I always liked that Flash animation and wanted to have a reason to play it somewhere.
This sounds really good and great visuals. I can't remember where I've seen that pattern before - maybe an album cover or some bathroom tiles
. I agree with @AndyHoneybone, it sounds good as is, but you could take it further - I'm getting an evolving gamelan orchestra vibe. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for commenting. Yeah, those quadrant patterns are pretty basic. The color relationships are what motivated me the most; like the relationship between note intervals in chords maybe. I am planning to try more improvisations in the future. I'm always inspired by yours.
