Which Headphones do you use with a newer iPad that no longer has a headphone jack?

Which headphones do you use with a newer iPad that no longer has a headphone jack? Do you use the same headphones you use in your studio environment or a different one or is there another combination I'm not thinking of ;-)

Thanks for your help and reply.

  • I use studio headphones with the Apple adapter. It’s a flimsy little thing but does the job very well.

  • I just use the £9 Apple adapter and my usual headphones, Sennheiser HD650s. It works great.

Thank you also for the headphone recommandation.

  • I got me, also Sennheiser, but HD599 from Amazon. It's the nicest headphones I ever owned as I never wanted to pay so much. Got them on a very good discount. Anyway I'm stationary so the headphones goes into the sound card, which they would have with or without jack.
Good headphones really are important, took me a minute to get that right.

  • I use Focal Bathys. Sound incredible, can do both bluetooth wireless and DAC mode through USB-C and most importantly the sound does not change between the modes, there's no "active EQ-ing" or anything like that.

They're a little bit on the pricier side, but I could not be more happy with the high-end sound and versatility. Recommended!

You can also use an adapter like this from Amazon, the Stouchi USB type C to 3,5 mm-jack. So you can charge your iPad and still use your headphone at the same time. Works great.
