FX Tails again ….
Sorry to bother again with this.
I am using Eventide fx Plugins in Beta. And I actually couldn’t believe it.
“When you turn off an Eventide AUV3 reverb effect in Loopy Pro using the “active” knob, the expectation is for the reverb tail to naturally ring out even after deactivation. Loopy Pro is designed to handle effect tails gracefully: when you deactivate an effect, the app allows the tail (such as reverb decay) to fade out naturally rather than cutting it off abruptly. The plugin icon will flash while the tail is fading, and only after the tail has decayed will the effect fully turn off.”
This is what Perplexity was telling me, and this is what my expectations were. But it doesn’t work. tapping on the “active” knob cuts the tail. Tapping on the on–off button in Loopys fx ermm “window” lets the reverb tail ring on, but it’s too short. A shimmer tail is cut off after a while.
….
I’m not talking about recording the tails. I’m using the effect in real time. Can I do something about this? A setting within Loopy that I am not aware of?

Following.
@Zsolt : the precise behavior depends on the AUv3 and how it empties its buffer.
In this video, you see a well-behaved reverb. You will hear its tail die out gracefully after I tap off.

If you are not getting a graceful completion of the tail, can you post a demonstration and the name of the reverb?
Not all reverbs are well-behaved . I just checked Blackhole and it behaves well.
Maybe you could slowly automate the reverbs mixer knob, to fade out the fx…
Yes
Thank you all.
I think I was a a bit too fast this time. It is only the really long tails that are cut off. All the rest works great. Apologies.
Can you post a demonstration? I am not experiencing a problem even with long tails.
