Step Twice [2-step Garage made in Drambo]

Lot's of sample chopping and time stretching with this one. Used Koala to chop up and Blocswave to process the samples then brought them into Drambo sampler. The guitar riff in the beginning and the strumming were recorded on an iPhone by a friend of mine which started this whole idea. I also used Riffler for one of the guitar riffs.

That's amazing and a great vibe. ☺️ What DAW did you use, or was this in Drambo?

Thank you! Yes Drambo. Drambo is my DAW. And GR-2. But this one’s Drambo.

    Thank you @seonnthaproducer!

  • Not my usual musical fare but I enjoyed it. Particularly liked the guitar parts 👍

  • Thank you for taking the time to listen @GeoTony!

  • Sounds great! Nice mix and arrangement.

The clip launcher section kinda looks funny with all the single notes held in each clip. 😄

A little different than my typical Drambo jams:

Thank you Ed! Yeah this one is mostly samples. To keep it simple and to have the ability to individually process the samples and not have to worry about P-Locks, most tracks are a sampler with a single sample.

  • Sick bridge. The track is spacey and has great energy.

  • Great song. Very summery vibe to it. Nice work!

Drambo is underrated as a sampler in my opinion.

  • Nice track.

  • Thank you @AlexY, @timfromtheborder, @Pxlhg! I appreciate you taking the time to listen.

@timfromtheborder Couldn't agree more about the samplers in Drambo.
