Could you please add released as in: Elpiano by Klevgränd (Released)

Not everybody knows what and when like you do E, so a little more info does the trick. ☺️

  • Good demo, and this looks/sounds nice, but what’s with the noise? Hope it’s the video

  • @Pxlhg Done, thanks.
@pedro It happens when I switch presets, don't know if this will happen with everyone else.

  • Hmmm, well, I am a sucker for an EP.

I’ve got a lot of good ones already though… ah what the heck clicks on the 14.99 button

@pedro are you talking about what sounds like a “vinyl crackle” effect on the first demo in the video? Or the crackley noise in between preset changes? As the former could be desired (by some), but the latter, not so much.

  • I had low expectations for this one but its VERY nice indeed and there is a lot here. It really sounds great to my ears and I like it.

  • Several of these are pristine sounding and you play them beautifully @eylvy

Those preset switch pop/crackle are pretty rough, was this App Store version?

That noise between the models gives me pause on getting it, I’m sure Klevgrand will sort it out (if they haven’t already)

  • Cool, I was waiting for this one to drop on iOS! Thanks for the demo @eylvy

Got dangit Klevgrand! A quick cycle thru presets and I'm loving everything I'm hearing!

I'm getting replays of first auditioning OneShot presets ... So many sounds giving me ideas. And minimal that I'm testing that 'arent for me'...

It's crazy how many apps there been releasing that are just fire to my ears

(Along with OneShot and Revolv, this is already been added mainstay in my loopy templates...)

And an open letter to Klevgrand, @cem_olcay, and @Rob_Jackson_Music, can ya'll stop producing banger after banger completely relevant to my ears?!

I can only take so much?!

(But srsly, thanks for all the amazing work!)

[Edit: on a 'heads up' - prepare for the same wonky ui issues, resizing and small pokey points for tapping 😉]

Yes, I love Klevgrand apps for the most part, but they really could improve some aspects of the UX, like that. The popping while changing presets is also disappointing, hopefully something will be done about it. Great addition to the electric piano stable though.

So, how does it compare to the others you have, like e.g Korg Module Pro? I'm trying to save a little to see if I can buy FMR without it creating total havoc in my wallet but I'm curious about this, love Klevgränd.

I like this because it seems like it’s light weight (DSP wise) compared to some of the big heavy hitters like Korg, and the Gospel Musician offerings (Neo Soul keys, FM Tines, etc)

As far as sound goes, I really haven’t done any kind of side by side comparison, but it does sound pretty good.

Sounds like a nice collection. Putting it on my wish list for when I get my next gift card.

I’m an EP junkie too, but I already have Pianoteq EPs which are very lightweight and high quality. Although these EPs seem to have character…

  • Anyone compare this to Pianoteq?

  • 177 mb

Does anyone know if this is sample based or synthesized, or a hybrid? The size seems too small to be purely sample based.

Damn. It'd be a no brainer if it was iPhone too. Now I have to wrestle over it before I finally have a weak moment, then be pissed at myself for buying yet another iPad only app.

Not as realistic but brings a new palette of unique takes on EP sounds. I can't get it to respond to MIDI in standalone so I've been hosting in AUM where DSP is hovering around 25% on my M1, so heavier than Pianoteq. For my money VTines is still the most realistic EP on iPad, Pianoteq has a lot more variety and control, and this adds even more variety and completely different character. Even on an iPad stuffed with EPs it's well worth its price.

I had to take it for a spin, it does sound real nice sometimes and I think it's a very clever system having the same preset settings for 10 different models. Also very easy to alter the sound. Not 100 it's a keeper for me but it does do some pretty unique sound so it's going to be hard to decide.

The stand alone doesn't work with my keyboards either (reported it to them).

  • Update fixing usb/bt keyboard in stand alone is out.
